Excellent shared accommodations. Very clean and well stocked with all the utensils/dishwear/appliances/bedding/etc you’ll need plus a little extra. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms functional and clean. Excellent hospitality. Loved the easy walk to Sally’s beach. Heads up - bring mosquito repellent.

The property is unique in that it appears to have retrofitted from a barn. Parking is on gravel and grass, and we were immediately greeted by swarms of mosquitoes as soon as we got off the car. The mosquitoes followed us all the way into our room, which led to an unpleasant start to our stay. The room was stuffy and A/C was not turned on when we checked in. Though when the A/C is on, the room is cool and comfy. The room looks dated, much like the rooms you'd see at Anne of Green Gables Heritage Site, which could be a plus if you'd like the authentic experience. The balcony was unfortunately unusable due to mosquito infestation. Thankfully mosquito repellent was provided (or left behind by other guests) in the living room. The property marketed itself as a hostel, which I think it is not. It is more like a B&B but without breakfast, and thus a bit overpriced. The washrooms are shared, and they were quite clean. Towels are available if you didn't bring one, but most look old, all self-served from a powder room shelf. The bed is comfortable enough. The room is also quite clean. Other amenities such as interior decor, coffee machine, and shared kitchen utensils were excellent. Overall, our stay was passable. It could be better if the mosquito situation can be brought to control by property management, and that the property can use a new set of towels.

When we arrive the owner explained everything about the place. We had access to the kitchen stove, oven coffee makers. Showers and bathrooms were very clean. Very nice property to walk around and see the waters, cliffs and woods. Full size fridge to put your food in. Big living room with comfortable couches big dining room area.

It was great, kitchen and dining/room were great and nice to meet other travelers.

Comme nous étions les seuls clients c’était parfait puisque les salles de bain sont communes. Il faut s’assurer d’apporter un repas ou d’avoir pris un repas avant l’arrivée car, il n’y a pas de restaurant à proximité.

The place is near the water so the views are awesome! The staff was accommodating and welcoming, and the room was clean. Also, the kitchen is very well equipped.

In taking the walk the proprietor suggested I came across blue herons and the most beautiful sunset.

Great welcome from David the owner. He explain all I need to know about the place. He came the morning I left to make sure my stay was enjoyable and quiet. I recommend the place the only thing you need is your food. The Kitchen is full equip to cook with everything necessary and more..

Amazing place. The surrounding environnement is exceptional. The barn is unique and so welcoming.

The place was really nice, in a quiet zone near the water! My only regret is I wasn’t able to stay long enough to enjoy the beautiful landscape around but I will be back for sure

Really pretty area somewhat remote. We had an upstairs room with a view of the ocean. Very quiet. 30 minute drive to a town with restaurants and minimal shopping. The proprietor was very personable.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are on your way to take the ferry to the Magdalene‘s or just want a beautiful spot on the ocean. The only thing that would’ve been perfect, was fresh coffee cream available to the guests. Other than that, I have no complaints.
