This place was filthy and disgusting, roaches everywhere.

I booked my hotel through expedia.ca. When I got to the room, the front desk told me there was an issue with my booking and I would need to pay with my credit card. I was charged twice, once directly through the hotel, and once with Expedia, because the hotel didn’t understand how the booking worked. Now I’m fighting to get my money returned. Secondly, there wasn’t even a drinking glass for water in the hotel room. Terrible experience.

It wasn’t a terrible place to stay, honestly it’s what i expected for a $150 room, but there could be better maintenance, my door was missing the flat plate that the door laches into our door still closed and locked and the frame was bent it looked like someone tried to force their was in previously so it didn’t feel the safest.

I had gone put in the morning and arrived back to my room at 10am. They had already entered the room and started cleaning it with all of my belongings still there and when i got my credit card statement they had billed me for another night and front desk has no record of it. Spend the extra money which for me would've been less amd go somewhere else.

Room was disgusting . Dirt and hair all over the floors and beds . Food marks all over the walls and burn marks all in the night stand . Actually disgusted in the beds with hair in them and stains all over the sheets.

Low end, sconces and hair dryer removed from the wall. No bedside lamp. Moved things around. Worn bath towels. No hand towels or facecloths. No floor mat to keep from stepping on a slippery wet floor. Common areas dirty. TV didn’t work and when I called in evening no one picked up the phone. The entrance is locked because it’s in a sketchy part of town. They run a UHaul truck rental out of their small parking lot, so the hotel is not top priority.

Value for money, great location downtown Hamilton.

If you’re looking for a clean, relaxing, and safe place to stay, do not book this hotel. The online photos are incredibly misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the property. One of the biggest concerns was safety. There were homeless individuals sleeping outside the entrance, and because the doors remain locked, guests have to wait for staff to let them in. We were left waiting outside in the parking lot, which felt very unsafe. During our stay, police had to be called after individuals attempted to force their way into the building. To make matters worse, there wasn’t even a phone in the room to contact the front desk if we needed assistance. The room itself was disappointing. The bathroom wasn’t clean, the bedding didn’t feel clean, there was no working TV, and there wasn’t even an ice machine available. The only positive thing I can say is that the air conditioning worked well. This may be a cheap place to stay, but the low price wasn’t worth the experience. I also became extremely ill after my stay. While I can’t say what caused it, it certainly added to an already terrible experience. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Chose this location because it was close to TD Coliseum. Pictures were misleading and did not showcase what the place actually looked like. If we had known we would have booked somewhere else.

This hotel is the filthiest dump I have ever set foot in. The staff is a joke and has zero desire to fix any issues. Our first room had a key pad and the door would not lock.You could just push it open. We got moved to another room. Upon pulling back the sheets there were over 25 different stains under the bedsheets. I have photos! The front desk seemed to see nothing wrong with this. We left and found another hotel elsewhere. They refused to give us a refund even though we had been at the hotel for less than 20 minutes. Management refuses to call us back. Expedia also did nothing for us even though we showed them pictures and called them immediately as soon as we knew our issue would not be resolved.

A very uneasy feeling upon arrival. Exterior was not inviting at all. The district seems to be an area of homeless people. Main door was locked, waited for desk clerk to open it. Had to pay a $210 security deposit. Already paid for three night stay. I'll keep an eye on my Mastercard for reimbursement. No assistance given or offered to assist with my suitcase even though the lobby was completely empty of guests. I'm seventy-three, luckily was able to lift my bag up the stairs to the second floor, around another set of steps, down a dingy hall to my room. Amenities sparse. Microwave, fridge, a small coffee maker (I don't drink coffee and if I did there was none provided). No kettle or even a cup that I could use to heat water in the microwave. Two little soaps, two small towels, well worn, thin.Tub had no plug and I didn't feel comfortable enough with the surroundings to call to the desk so I stuffed one of the towels in the drain for a quick bath. Television worked and luckily I had bought a few food items at a deli before arrival - nothing available here and I didn't feel safe to go to the nearby Tim's at night. The bedding looked like it hadn't been changed since the previous guest, wrinkled where someone had obviously slept. I slept between the top sheet and duvet, covered the pillow. Old A/C unit worked but was UNBELIEVABLY noisy, needing repair. Didn't feel comfortable to call the desk at night so changed rooms in the morning. Here the TV didn't work, door lock iffy.

The sheets weren’t very clean overall, the room had a musty smell the tv was not working very well either

Room was clean. Very few towels and amenities. Property was in poor shape, hallway stunk of smoke, carpet in hallway was filthy. Lots of drug addict nearby. Would not recommend

The price was the best of a bad lot. Even cheap hotels with no amenities feel free to gouge. They charge the maximum for a security deposit. The single employee at the desk was very accommodating, but for a poor business. Everything looked clean, we hope it really was. In a room with 2 queen beds, there was 1 skinny “towel” (rag, really) in the bath. No bath mat. No cups provided for teeth brushing or drinking. Telephone was a broken ancient model so we couldn’t call for our needs. No hangers in the closet, but 2 ironing boards. Locks on the rooms are wonky, but there is an additional way to secure the room. (We had been “upgraded” from a room which had a very loose door lock.) Worst - both electrical outlets in the room were loose so plugs didn’t engage in them securely, thus hearing aids weren’t operating the next morning. A light attached to a wall tv right across from the bed was on all night. We are fine with basic, but too many basics were missing. Less than 1 star!

So the first room had a strange smell to it and the bathroom door was locked and the doorknob damaged. we managed to unlock it to find that the toilet wasn’t flushed. We talked to the front desk and he was very nice and offered to switch our room right away. The new room was much nicer and we had a good sleep. Seems like a lot of the hotel is being renovated.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The bed was not clean upon arrival, which is unacceptable for any hotel. Only two small towels were provided in the room, which was insufficient. The shower mixer was broken and difficult to use, and the bathtub curtain had a strong unpleasant smell, making the bathroom experience uncomfortable. Overall, the room was not properly maintained, and the stay did not meet even basic expectations. We would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Room had no cups. None. Not drinking cups. Not Coffee cups. There was a coffee maker, but no coffee mugs, and certainly no coffee or tea to make in the coffee maker. The ice machine on my floor was not active, and there were no vending machines. the pillows on the bed were very limp and not comfortable at all. The jetted tub in the room worked, but the jets were not high powered. While I recognize that everything was clean, it was one of the more bizarre hotel experiences I have ever had.
