Clean room, great breakfast

This is a modern boutique hotel located in the bottom end of the Valletta peninsula. It is relatively new (2 years old) spread over five or six floors with a small number of rooms on each floor. The hotel is reached from the road by walking down steep steps to the far end of an alleyway - don’t expect taxi drivers or staff to carry your bags. Breakfast is part of the deal but the quality and range of foods on offer is not extensive. Coffee comes from a capsule machine and juice is not freshly squeezed. Cooked breakfast is eggs, beans, sausages and bacon. The cereal selection is simple. The room had a king sized bed and good aircon- the bathroom had a good shower/bath with plenty of hot water but the basin was a strange design which meant wet shaving was a challenge. The in-room safe was not attached to anything so presumably could have been carried out (it wasn’t). On the roof is a plunge pool with loungers and a bar so it is possible to get away from the hubbub of Valletta and chill. The best bit about the hotel was its location within walking distance of everything that Valletta had to offer. The staff were attentive and helpful. Thursday nights the mother hotel around the corner offers a local food dinner plus drink which was worthwhile.

Loved our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel! The staff were all helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really nice with plenty of options. Location was great and the pool was a great addition to relax after a big day of exploring

This hotel is ideally located in a quiet area but only a few minutes walk to the centre of Valetta. The staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choice. The rooftop pool and terrace were a lovely bonus. We had a lovely time.

I stayed on the 4th floor and the desk was covered by ants. It was disgusting.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est vraiment exceptionnel tout est à quelque part à pied, proche du centre-ville, tout en étant dans un quartier calme. Hotel très propre prestations 4 étoiles personnel très dévoué. Nous conseillons vivement cet hôtel qui vraiment est un petit bijou. Large choix du petit déjeuner très apprécié. Seul petit bémol, manque de choix dans les jus de fruit, un seul par jour différent chaque jour mais d’en avoir plusieurs serait appréciable. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel.

A really nice boutique hotel that is well situated close to all the amenities in Valletta old town. The staff are really friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast room staff. Breakfast is very good, the only minor grumble being that the pastries were very dry. The rooftop area with swimming pool and bar is a nice place to relax after a heavy day of sightseeing.

Séjour de 3 nuits, excellente expérience a san karlu, idéalement situé pour découvrir malte. Grand lit qui occupe une grande partie de la chambre. Excellent petit déjeuner, personnel serviable. Petite piscine idéale pour se rafraîchir en fin de journée.

Since the hotel is located on the side street, there’re some steps to getting down and up to: from the hotel. It’s very quiet but 10 mins walk to Republic Square. Many restaurants and busy area nearby. The room we stayed has a tiny window which can’t see anything or use it properly. So the room is dark and no fresh air. Air conditioning is needed in this case. It’s quiet and cool. Good selection of breakfast. Very friendly staff.

Great location, good amenities and breakfast

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and 3 days. We were initially assigned a different room than the one we booked, so we immediately requested a change. Michael worked hard to switch us and managed to get us a room with a window. The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was good. The staff were especially friendly. I would like to thank Michael and Matthew.

Great location, staff are absolutely amazing. Great bit of advice from another review which we took advantage of, make use of their sister Hotel as it is central located and whilst this hotel has a Pool their sister Hotel has an amazing view from the pool overlooking the three cities. You can use it for free just like reception now. All in all a great place to stay.

Clean room, lovely staff, great location. Nice rooftop pool. Only suggestion would be luggage racks in room. Shower doors also slid open of their own accord sometimes - but still a very enjoyable stay.

Excellent location and facilities.. you pay mainly for the location and great access to sights of valetta. Bfast was nice and great attentive staff who go above and beyond to assist guests

Incredible location, one of the nicest hotel breakfasts we’ve ever enjoyed. Intimate feel, wonderfully helpful staff. Will definitely return here when visiting Valletta again!
