We loved everything about our stay here. The little apartment was perfect! The shower was amazing. Having a washer/dryer was so convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was convenient for getting to several different train lines. A perfect place to stay with a kid to explore Tokyo. We will definitely be looking for Section L's in the future.

Good size room for a family of 5. Great location-walking distance to metro stations. Appreciate full fridge & washer & dryer in the room-1 of the main reasons booking the stay.

Room was clean but there was definitely an odor similar to that of a young teenage boys room. We got the sauna room but the sauna does not work. The temperature barely gets higher than warm despite the instructions saying it can take up to 1 hour to heat up. We tried two nights and both times never got hotter than just warm. Location is great. Room is smaller than it looks in pictures. The couch needs to be cleaned. It smelled and every time I sat on it I felt there was a film of dirt on it. It was very nice to have a full kitchen and dining table. The AC is very difficult to use and the Tav was japanese only so it was useless to us. Location was the saving grace here.

Friendly staff and clean room

This was the fifth and final hotel we stayed at on our three week visit to Japan. It was not the biggest or most conveniently located of the five. But the only con we could come up with wasn’t that bad. First the pros: decent sized room for three adults. Two of the three beds were pretty close, but I was staying with my wife, so that was fine. There was a large cushion you could put between you if you needed it. Small kitchen with decent fridge/freezer, so you could cook in the room if you wanted (we did not). Separate toilet room, sink area, and shower/tub room. Washer/dryer in the room was great. BUT the combination washer/dryer was tiny. You could only do maybe two outfits in it. And it took almost four hours for the full cycle to end. We were running two cycles a day. As is typical, there was no dresser to put clothes in. We could hang some stuff, but the rest would have to stay in your suitcase. The hotel was on a side street, a couple of blocks from the train station. The Ameyoko shopping area was about a 5 minute walk away. Lots of places to eat and shop there.

Really clean and comfortable space. We appreciated the fast and quiet washer/dryer in particular to help us reset on our trip. The staff at check in we're super friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect!

Very convenient in a great location for central Tokyo. Great local choices within a few minutes for authentic Japanese food.

An amazing hidden gem among hotels. I’ve traveled with my spouse enough to know what she likes and values at our stays. She loves having at least a small kitchen to cut fruit she finds at markets. She also loves having a washer and dryer to do laundry. Both a kitchenette and washer/dryer are very difficult to find in Japan, even at expensive hotels. So Section L was perfect for us since it provided both of these amenities as well as the convenience of being right next to a train stop and the night market. The staff was super friendly and spoke English well, too. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

Our family of four adults stayed in the family suite. The room was clean and spacious enough for 4 adults. There is a toilet with a bidet in a small separate room, a kitchenette fully furnished with fridge and microwave and induction stove and kettle and dishes. The kitchen sink has a filter for drinkable water. There is a bathroom sink in another room with the washer and dryer and a shower/bathtub room. Everything requiring instructions had a QR code with English translations. We loved how good the water pressure was in the room -their plumbing system is excellent. The room is also very quiet. The staff were welcoming every time we left and returned to the hotel after our daily activities. We would stay here again!

The best and most spacious accommodation we've stayed at in Tokyo (our third visit). We wanted to stay somewhere different than the usual tourist areas like Shinjuku and Ueno is the perfect option. It's merely 40mins on the Keisei Express train to/from Narita airport and you can catch the Shinkansen from Ueno station which is merely 15mins walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is quiet, super clean and conveniently located to a host of restaurants, shops and markets. Friendly and helpful staff on the front desk who speak English, make this stay an easy choice. If you book here you will not be disappointed! Five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐

Always a great place to stay, it can be more expensive than many other places, but overall it’s a top notch place with easy access to the Narita Skyliner and stations as well as it has a small studio like kitchen. The Staff are mostly international students and speak perfect fluent English so Google Translate is not necessary. Rooms are always clean. They do have laundry. No breakfast which lowers the value since other hotels of a similar cost include this for free. However, you do get more space in the room which is nice compared to the small rooms of Tokyo. It is still our go to place when staying in tokyo
