In Hope Valley lovely spot. Our room had a lovely view of Edale. Sunday roast was excellent & the staff could not have been more helpful that evening. The only disappointment was the breakfast the next morning which was over cooked.

Nice hotel to stay in and great location for walkers. Staff deserve huge credit, put on an early continental breakfast out of hours for us as we were leaving early for our walk. Rooms clean and good size. Plenty of seating to eat inside and out. Thanks for a great stay

Really lovely place for an impromptu visit to the heart of the Peak District. This had everything you hope for when staying in a country inn: beautiful surroundings, airy and peaceful rooms and a nice bar / restaurant / garden in which to relax. Lots of fabulous walks on the doorstep - leave the car behind! Very nice - will definitely be back and highly recommend

Fabulous setting and surroundings, the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. We ordered the burgers from the evening menu and that is the only that spoilt the stay, they were extremely processed. All the rest of the food was great.

The hotel was lovely with a very vibrant and busy bar. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The staff were really helpful and nice, and the location couldn't be better. We will definitely be back!

Stayed in the 4bed family room with Mountain View. The room was excellent,clean and spacious. The shower/ensuit was clean and modern. Breakfast was included and was superb. The staff made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. Would certainly recommend and would have no hesitation staying there again. The bar was buzzing and very popular with other hikers.

The room was spacious, warm, and ideal for 2 people. All the staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with the local area. Food breakfast excellent choice, evening - good choice available throughout the menu.

The breakfast and dinner menu were extensive, with vegan and vegetarian choices too! The staff were the most welcoming we have experienced. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The Rambler Inn is ideally located for Edale and the peaks.

​5/5 Stars: A Hiker’s Dream! We had a fantastic stay at The Rambler Inn, where the hospitality is as warm as the rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly, courteous, and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the entire place was spotlessly clean. We loved the unique touch of rooms being named after local trails! After a long day, the powerful hot shower and cozy, toasty room were exactly what we needed. The food was a major highlight: for dinner, I had a delicious steak and ale pie with chunky chips and veggies, while my partner enjoyed the haddock and chips. Breakfast was equally impressive, featuring a proper traditional English with a great Cumberland sausage and eggs cooked to perfection, plus a lovely Eggs Benedict. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommended!
