Our stay at Hakone Mori No Sato was absolutely wonderful. The hotel offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect place to unwind and experience Hakone. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the onsen facilities were exceptional. Soaking in the hot springs after a day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, providing excellent hospitality and making us feel right at home. The traditional Japanese meals were beautifully prepared and delicious, showcasing fresh local ingredients and authentic flavors. Every detail reflected the care and dedication of the hotel team. If you're looking for a quiet, authentic Japanese ryokan experience with excellent service, relaxing hot springs, and outstanding food, I highly recommend Hakone Mori No Sato. We would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Hakone.

Overall it was a 10/10, only thing I wish would have been different is the rooms that aren’t the villas had baths instead of stand up showers only. That would have made it perfect, while not being an onset giving the onsen vibes. Overall highly recommended if you plan on staying hakone for an extended period of time and you’re on a budget.

Fabulous beautiful location by the lake, convenient to public transport and easy views of Mount Fuji. It’s a brand new hotel with many amenities, good size room, exceptionally attentive staff plus the owner is incredibly nice and offers all kinds of tours. They also have vilas with private Onsen which we definitely will try next time!
