A Budget Hotel With Great Location. Especially During Winter. The best way to get there from Harbin Taiping airport is by a reserved taxi from the hotel. Simply write an email to the hotel few days before the arrival date and prepare CNY180 for one-way drive and CNY30 for airport express way. It took around 45 minutes from the airport to get to the hotel. Many articles write about the taxi cost from the airport to the city which around CNY100 to CNY200 and sometimes with prior bargaining efforts. My check-in process was quite easy, the staff checked my passport and Chinese visa. They did not speak English well, we used smartphones to translate our communication. Make sure the smartphone has enough battery especially during winter when the power may easily drop. Expect no bell boy and room boy at the hotel lobby. My room was not large and bright. The decoration was old fashioned and not really sound proof. I still could hear other guests' voices from the corridor. The best thing about the hotel is its location. The hotel is next to MyKal mall where I used to buy daily food and beverage. By walking for less than 30 minutes I could reach many interesting places such as Sophia Church, Zhaolin Park, Central Road, Stalin Park, and Song Hua river. See the map I attached. The approximity gave me chance to take a rest in my room whenever I was tired or cold and to re-charge my gadgets' batteries. I also could save money during my city tour. The minimum daily hotel taxi cost for city tour was CNY450. Some useful tips: 1. Contact the hotel to confirm room and taxi reservation few days before the arrival date. 2. Do the taxi payment inside the hotel lobby, not only because of the cold air but also for security reason. 3. Prepare printed room reservation and confirmation email from the hotel in case the smartphone battery drop or no internet connection. I myself printed my reservation from app and showed it during my check-in. 4. Prepare off-line or printed map to explore around the hotel. China government has strict policy on the internet, some apps may not work there. Maps provided in the hotel lobby were all in Chinese language. 5. The hotel provides a vending machine at the lobby to sell some snacks such as bread and sandwiches. But for fresher food and beverages simply go to MyKal mall next door which operates daily from 10:00 to 21:00. 6. Reserve taxi for city tour or to the airport in advance especially during peak season for the hotel only provides several taxi cars. I did my taxi reservation back to the airport during my check-in. The hotel staff suggested me to arrive at the airport at least two hours before my departing time. 7. Check the hotel price regularly to match the budget. I myself did it on app around two months before my trip and when I found the best price matched to my budget.

The hotel close to many places attraction such as church, walking street, plaza, and street food. The room rate is reasonable and match with a quality of the room. The amenity in the room is good. Sally, a woman staff at front desk is very helpful. She is really nice as well as other staffs.
