주인부부는 아주 친절했고 부엌이나 외관은 러블리 했으나 숙소는 옛고성 느낌으로 전반적으로 칙칙한 느낌을 주었다.

It was awesome... We traveled christchurch for our honeymoon, and we absolutely satistifed with the service, and gorgeous interior of 'The classic Villa'! If you plan for a trip to New zealand, The classic villa will be the best choice.

The classic villa is located right next to botanic garden which is one of the beautiful spot in christchurch. it is well maintained boutique hotel. the owner was very helpful and friendly. the only problem we had..was a little bit noisy since it must be a old house type room. other than that, we were happy! sending our best regards to peter!

Great location and a really cool villa.

This was a comfortable place to stay with pleasant older style character run by friendly and helpful people. It would have been good to have contact a bit earlier about how to check in but that may have been at least partly my fault in that I only made contact the day before I arrived. It was clean, comfortable and secure. There was some street noise but that is to be expected in a central location. The shower in my room made a screeching noise and seemed to take a long time for the water to heat up and I gave up on it. It was quite expensive for a room in a shared house, albeit a pleasant and convenient one.

Awesome Place. Cheri and Karen were very friendly and helpful. The common areas were large and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and we met some other guests during this time.

The new managers, Karen and Cherie, were so kind and friendly. They greeted us with a smile, helped us with reservations and provided an incredible breakfast each morning. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

Looking forward to returning for a longer stay in the future!

Having travelled widely over the years this must rate as one of our favourite hotels. It was well located and in excellent condition, welcoming and comfortable. More of a luxury B&B than a standard hotel; it is the hosts (Steve and Jackie) that make the The Classic Villa such a special place. Friendly, helpful and effective they make the place feel like so much more than a hotel, more a home from home. But one where someone else does all of the hard work! Thank you both for providing a wonderful start to our holiday in New Zealand.

This Historic location was so convenient to the trolley, the arts center, the gardens and restaurants. Parking was available on the property. Steve and Jackie were so welcoming, accommodating and friendly in spite of our late arrival from the transalpine train. Such a wonderful breakfast in the morning to enjoy with other guests...five stars!!

Brilliant place to stay with hosts Jackie & Steve providing a base to literally be right in the centre of Christchurch… the tram stops right out side The Classic Vilas. Large rooms and a well equipped bathroom. Dining for the large continental breakfast was in very pleasant surroundings and proper tea and coffee available all day and night. Crucially the bonus is that a bottle of port is out in the evening for when you come in. Extremely pleased we chose this place and would recommend a couple of day s stay

We had a gorgeous stay at this lovely property and will definitely return:) Our hosts were wonderful and made it feel like home with lovely touches including wine in the room and port in the hallway and such a delicious breakfast. So comfortable and loved the historical experience.

Steve and Jackie were exceptional in taking care of every guest. Breakfast was brilliant, guests were friendly and eagerly exchanging experiences and recommendations. Our stay was superb!

Our stay was incredible. The owners were so helpful and kind. Beautiful historic building. The location was perfect right across from the trolleys, art centre, museums, botanical garden, etc. Can’t recommend enough!

Fabulous Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Felt like home!

Wonderful place to stay! Our room was super comfortable. The beds and linens were very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was great. Best walkable location in Christchurch. We’ve booked again after our RV trip in New Zealand.
