Property is in desperate need of repair and updating. Furniture is old and scratched up. Shower curtain rod was pulled out of the wall on one side and molding around the window from the shower. Fire alarm went off every time we took a shower. We were there multiple days and never got our room serviced. Had to keep asking for clean towels at the desk but had a hard time locating a staff member every time. No robes in the room. Bathroom flooring was messed up and you could see the sub flooring underneath. Trash was left under the bed. The coffee maker was broken. Front steps are in desperate need of repair. For the amount of money we spent for this boutique hotel, we expected excellent customer service at the very least but we never received our breakfast order and didn’t get the iron/board we requested. Our keys stopped working multiple times during our stay. Again had to track down someone to rekey our cards. They finally turned on the fountain because there was a wedding at the end of our weeklong stay. It was nice to finally see that but they turned it off as soon as the wedding was over. Overall, it’s ok. Definitely not worth the amount of money we spent. Could’ve spent less at a Hampton and got hot breakfast every day.

Beautiful place. They definitely need to add a pool.

The place looks nice in the pics and outside when you arrive. Once you walk in the perfume is strong. Once you settle in you realize it’s covering the mold smell. The bath tub was a death trap waiting to happen. Would not recommend. Will never stay again. Had to rent another room at another place and just waste money.

Property and rooms are in need of renovation. The cost far outweighs the experience.

This was at least our 20th visit over the years. I think that says it all!

No grab bars for tub, toilet really low, no iron/ironing board, missing outside middle railing, sink no counter space, no drawer space, no lamps. Frig unplugged,no bedside table one side, elevator flr needs new tile, frnt porch unkept, for the price ver disappointed

Front staff were so welcoming! The shuttle to Ledges and casino was so convenient!

What a fun experience. You can immerse yourself in a jungle room or feel like a Roman emperor. This place was just plain fun and not much more expensive than a stay at anychain. I asked for stuff to be ready upon arrival. 3 hours after check in stuff i paid for still wasnt ready. I had to go to the front desk several times.

Seems short staffed. Bar was not open, although scheduled to be. Key to room stopped working every time I left the room and I had to wait quite a while each time for someone to come to front desk & reissue a new key. Place is funky. Each room has a theme—mine was a pirate ship. Be adventurous!

Great location and establishment

A unique place to stay after a SKC game. Nice change from the normal hotel style rooms.

Amazing and unique Chateau located out in the trees on a few acres. Which is what drew us to this property. Also is located near the Kansas Speedway ( they also have a shuttle to take you to the racetrack) and the Hollywood Casino. Wonderful check in crew, wonderful friendly owner was greeting people while just walking around. Had breakfast delivered to our room, which was really good. Will definitely be back.

1-Phone was dead for room service, had to walk down to the front counter for all services 2-Wine menu was not accurate & sold out of the orders we asked & it took 45 minutes to tell us (this was at 5pm on a Saturday evening) 3-We were given a list of wines that were not on the menu to choose from & had to wait again for another 45 minutes 4-The drinks were delivered by hand without a carrier of any sort by staff, so i had to make multiple trips to take all the utensils, plate of cheesecake (warm), etc. 5-All services were marked up to premium pricing mark ups & received sub par quality product/service with no discounts offered 6-Sold out of bottled water at 9 PM & given a coffee pot to refill water from the bottom floor water filter machine 7-My wife found a half dollar sized spider in the sink that I had to kill 8- The thermostat in the room was not adjustable outside of 68 to cool or 76 to heat making the room rather uncomfortable 9- The alligator arm was broke on the decorations in the room 10- Limited entertainment space or organization for clothes in the room 11- The bar was closed and that was not advertised, staff notified us it was due to not being able to find staffing Overall, the price did not match the expectations that we had of the location. We were reluctant to ask for any sort of refund/discount due to the fact we had childcare so we didn't want to leave and we stayed the night. They seemed understaffed, understocked, undermaintained.

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary on NYE 2024 with a one night stay here. We chose the Pirates Cove room. It was very clean and comfortable. We had issues with the payment at checking in due to booking through hotels.com instead of directly through the hotel themselves. They told us next time to not use this website, but I've booked through this for years with no problems.

Rooms are tiny for the price, our room had bare wires exposed from the phone cord, the phone in the room did not work so we could not even enjoy the room service experience

The breakfast cinnamon roll was not that great The bed was not comfortable
