The hotel seemed very nice in the pictures only to find out upon arrival the pool was closed for the season, not enough bath towels in our room, and the outdoor fire pit was not operational.

The room had an off-smell, as if the carpet had been soiled and they tried to clean it but you never really get the smell out completely. needs new carpeting
They advertise free breakfast, but there isn't much to it.
Front desk help perpetually "on break;" there was a person when he was there was quite helpful, though

The hotel was very easy to find and conveniently located. The bed was very comfortable, as was the couch in the room.
It was unfortunate that the pool was not open/available because of renovations.

At the time of our stay, the temperature outside was upper 90’s with a lot of humidity so my main gripe here was the temperature in the room. The AC which is programmed only goes down to 66 and it didn’t cool off the room to my liking. If you can’t stay somewhere where you are comfortable then why bother.

The pool was broken and they had signs around closed for season made it sound like they were forcing you to go next door to their sister property to use the outdoor pool instead of the indoor. They claim they have a restaurant but it has been closed for years. Rooms were tiny compared to picture front desk stated "those are stock photos the chain uses for every site". Finally, the women checking us in had a very rude tone.

The room was so musty they had the window propped open when we arrived. There were no bugs, but that was the best thing. The staff were fine too. No housekeeping throughout entire stay, informed upon arrival.
