Easy in and out, friendly staff

The Mentor Inn offers no-frills accommodation, and it is conveniently located near freeways, on the outskirts of Cleveland, OH. I booked the room for its low price and convenient location, but I did not feel particularly safe. The room itself was basic and functional. The front office staff, who were behind bulletproof glass, seemed harried and irritable. The atmosphere around the property made me uneasy, with groups of people milling around. I received unwanted attention while coming and going. While nothing happened to me directly, I felt uncomfortable. I would not choose to stay here again.

The pool area was clean and the water quality was great! Food restaurant next door and a sheets within walking distance too. On bus route. Fridge and microwave in suite. Laundry on site. I also had both my dogs with me. It was great

They were redoing the room next to mine at midnight and the room was just very run down and the comforter and sheets were stained and dirty

I like that the property was kind of like a hide away.

The renovations are coming along nicely, and it's convenient for getting off from I-90.

Nice place to stay

The room smelled. The bathroom had a broken toilet seat, the mirror was filthy, the floor was dirty and sticky, Lighting was poor. The small fridge/freezer was dirty inside and out, very unsanitary. And I can say the same for a friends room that also stayed at this motel for one night. We are supposed to come back in two weeks and my wife and I will be canceling that reservation. What a nightmare. On Monday I will be calling the health department in that city and filing a formal complaint about the condition of this motel.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend wanting a closer drive to Lake Erie for a few days at the Headlands Beach. I loved that the beach was only 15 mins away instead of my usual hour drive up. The motel was definitely worth the $. It was by far the cheapest around. The property and rooms were a little old and run down. Some rif-raf around. Once we got comfortable it was completely doable. Even my dog liked it. (I think it was the King size bed)

When you check in, there are lots of warnings Posted at check-in. The paint was peeling in every room and the fire alarm battery was beeping all night. It’s a place that people have brought pets as there was chew marks all over the door frames. The bedding was clean. The surfaces were clean and clear. I did not see any trash or dust in my room.

Well the place has been under construction and I actually had to mop my room cuz it was Footprints everywhere there was no towels I had to go to the front desk and get them

It looked like the walls was going fall in on me major cracks in the ceiling. The tub was disgusting stained beyond belief. Needs major up dates

Dirty linens, 2 gross pillows shoved into one pillow case

Manager need people skills i ask him for housekeeping service at my room something what never happen the only thing I get after back at night time was i sorry you can report to the owner never back again to this hotel

Staff and people were rude and dirty: room had used condoms under Sheet: dirty underwear left on floor of bathroom: place should be shutdown

Just good for a couple hour rest if needed
