Dori made our (albeit short) stay very pleasant, from great breakfast to fine-tuning our AC setting. We also enjoyed visiting with her over breakfast. We’d love to return.

Thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable stay at The Alden House!

We loved our stay at the Alden house. We parked the car and didn’t move it all weekend. Brian and Jeff were very kind and hospitable hosts. The breakfast was delicious.

Superb hosts and our room was beautiful. Had a great visit and can't wait to return! Lititz is a very special place and no better place to stay than The Alden House.

The staff is kind and friendly. Enjoyable to talk to, very informative. The rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast excellent! I would recommend it!

I went here this past weekend 10/25 through 10/27and my wife and I had a great time. The breakfast served was delicious and we enjoyed the convenience of the location to the cute shops in the area. We will definitely be back and I’m encouraging my in-laws to take a weekend trip as well however she would need something on the 1st floor.

Alden House is an awesome place to stay and this was the second time staying there. Lititz has so much to offer as a town and i highly recommend staying at the Alden House.

Do your research! No pictures are a good indicator of "things" not being as you might expect. There was NO common/sitting area. I was looking forward to that/chatting with guests (as I've done in many other bnbs) and not having to stay up in my room. Even a hotel has a lobby area! Disappointing. My room was up a steep stairway. While very large and nice, it was noisy (front room/on busy street) until well after midnight. It also only had two lamps - which made it very dark/dim at nighttime. And, though warm fall nights - the room was really cold even with the little heater on. Bed was okay. They needed a comforter or better blanket as this one smelled like my grandmother's basement (musty/mothballs). Ew. And, the kicker - my bathroom, while private, was up another 14 steep stairs! I have really bad knees. I asked to see if anyone else would like to change rooms with me - and they said they wouldn't do that. Nor would they cancel my second night. The stairs were a LOT for me. Also ... my opinion is, if you have a bnb and aren't an excellent cook - then hire someone who is. Breakfasts both days were ... meh. Side porch was nice. I've stayed at many bnbs ... sadly, would not recommend.

Pictures perfect town

Loved this Bed and Breakfast and will definitely come back! Beautiful decor, very clean, and the owners were so delightful. Was even better than pictured on Expedia. Location is perfect to stroll through Lititz Main Street. We were in town for a wedding at Brick Gables which was only a couple minutes drive away, so it was very convenient. So many small touches that were unexpected, I just cannot say enough!

The owners are the best, very accommodating! The suite room was huge. Breakfast was tasty and parking is included! The Alden house is in the middle of the town, very convenient for shopping. We will be back again!
