Too many mosquitoes

This was an interesting, no-frills room. Check-in was all online, with room left open for our arrival. Wasta is an incredibly small town. Room was clean enough. There was a large gap in the door sweep and there were insects that came in under it. There was a small bar really close by that had really good hamburgers. Unfortunately, there were no options for breakfast. This room met basic needs. If you like good pillows and are able, bring your own, bed had two small flat pillows.

We were very pleasantly surprised! For this little town, we had low expectations. This room was clean, appeared freshly painted and high quality sheets on the bed. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a simple property that is great to stay if in the area or passing through. Not fancy but comfortable.

Very clean. The bed was not the best but not the worst either. I do prefer a more firm bed. It was clean and comfortable space.

Off the beaten path and quiet.

Very nice stay. Loved the quiet. Staff very helpful. The little town has everything a person might need and groceries just a few miles down the road. Our room was quite small but still comfortable. I would say someone who is a bit larger may not agree. Our room came with a fly swatter and it got used. There were no other pests. A few small repairs needed and the property could use a little sprucing up. The area is close to the badlands, very beautiful prairie which was enjoyable. We slept well. Coffee was excellent.

Cannot get a hold of them by phone

It's an affordable and comfortable place to stay. Despite a glitch with Expedia's system, the staff communicated with me about my options and ultimately, I got a great night of sleep!

Perfect facilities for 2. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff called hours before check in to let us know how to get in and what was around the property for dinner options (Wasta Bar was great!). Also had some snacks for us. Overall, a nice experience.

This is an old school roadside motel. Its perfect. Pull right up to your room. No dragging your stuff through lobbies. A basket of snacks in your room. Surprisingly modern upgrades in room. And the bar down the street has amazing burgers!!

An older facility but an excellent value

Cozy and clean with a vintage feel. Located just off highway 90 in a small, quiet, safe feeling town. Only 13 miles from Wall/Badlands.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was very clean.

Room was ready with A/C, snacks for free, comfortable beds, good shower, quiet, close to Badlands and Wall. A nice experience and fairly priced, excellent communication with owners. Easy on and off to interstate

Checked the boxes for a place to stay. Not fancy but it’s clean, comfortable and the price is right.
