We were walking distance from the casinos and restaurants.

Won’t stay here again. The whole property is run down. One of the stairwells doesn’t even go all the way to the ground and is caution taped off. Location was nice and walkable to the concert venue at Cesar’s.

This was a terrible experience. We arrived early. though check-in isn’t until 4:00. They told me the room would be ready at 3:00. I go in at 3:15. There’s no room available. They say they will text me when the room is available. Never received a text. Check in 5:20 pm very disappointed .

Our biggest complaint was the dirty room. I mean DIRTY! I slept on top of the sheets with my personal beach towel over my pillow. Absolutely nasty. The gross, stained, outdated carpets need to be ripped out. I could not wait to get home and shower. Maybe put a dust rag to the filthy wooden blinds also. We will never stay here again.

This property is pretty run down and old and very noisy. Locks are doors are sketch. One bath towel only was provided for the room. The staff however was pleasant and helpful

Both our rooms booked together were on two different floors, the front desk staff seemed fairly careless with the keys. Check in was late at 4 pm. And there was a line out the door for over an hour because nothing was ready till after 4. The whole process was frustrating for everyone. For the price this was a total bummer.

The fish room we got to handle to the door with broken. They give us an under room.. The elevator is so small and there’s no stairs in case you want to take the stairs. Everything is made out of recycle Wood, which is OK, but it’s not my style for a hotel.. The bed was comfortable, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The lady at the front desk was rude as hell!!!! Arrived 25 min ahead of check in and was told to wait in the lobby... come back at 4 for keys.. the lobby was rusted out and dirty and not at all welcoming and uncomfortable and not welcoming at all. Got keys at 4, and was informed there were no clean towels..they never contacted me or told me how to retrieve towels. Finally got towels at 11 p.m. in the lobby. Crappy stay. Zero hospitality!

I was charged for three nights while I only booked and stayed for 2 nights. July 9-July 11, 2025. Because it has now been 2weeks since I reported it to the inn and have not been refunded after 2 phone calls and 1 email I will report this to my credit card and Expedia today. Because I stayed during a very popular celebrity golf tournament the rates were doubled during this time. Would expect better service and a quick fix as it is an extremely easy mistake to fix. Will not be staying here again.

Overall experience was very good. Near lake tahoe I dont think there are very modern facilities in CA side. This is an old building but the rooms are well maintained. One small tight Elevator. Parking is tight for big cars if you want shaded garage spaces. but open parking is also available. Rooms are Big and spacious. Bathrooms are clean. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Never got the door lock fixed. We requested Cleaning service and never got it.

You could hear ever conversation from the hall an no one came a cleaned our room or gave us new towels.

You get what you pay for. Room outdated and I couldn’t figure out the AC… the room was so cold and I couldn’t turn it off. I could hear the pluming from the rooms above us. It was very noisey. But the location of the property was conveniently close to all the things in south lake.
