During a 3 week trip to the UK, Ireland and France, booking a private room at this hostel for my family was my single regret. We only needed 2 nights accommodation in London, and I don't mind basic. But this is not a "nice" hostel with a bit of atmosphere, where you bring your family if you're traveling on a budget, and aren't looking for frills. It's a party hostel. We were on Floor 2, above the large bar, and heard loud music until late at night both nights. It felt institutional with its dimly lit industrial-looking hallways, and scant bathrooms, which frequently ran out of hand soap and toilet paper. (1 bathroom per floor - where a hundred people might be sleeping - is not sufficient.) The rooms are tiny, barely room to move around. The hallways and bathroom smelled. We didn't sleep well and woke up each morning wanting nothing more than to get out of the place. It was honestly a nightmare and I was so glad to check out. Don't stay here unless you're 19 and don't care about getting a good night's sleep.

Terrible hostel. Do not stay here. The staff arent good so its run a bit like a madhouse. From having to wait 1hr to check in because they had no keycards. Then random people were sleeping in 2/4 beds which staff did nothing about just gave clean bedding and told us find an empty one. All this after we came back from a night out, its not exactly ideal. And finally but worst of all the place does not look like the images. Its either really dated photos or edited as ffff. The showers and toliets are all small, broken in one way or another and smelly. The toilets were always covered in poop but i guess this says more about the guests than the staff but broken toilets dont help. There is 4 showers for about 50 guys per floor, Same with toilets. The bedroom lacked plug sockets and only had usb A outlets on the beds. There was a rat in the breakfast area. There was one small fan in the room with bunks so the people on top just roasted all night no breeze. There was literally no where to hang your clothes when changing in the 1 of 2 changing rooms per 50 guys. So everything is on the floor. Same in the shower and because its tiny, your dry clothes cant not get wet. The underbed lockers are big but loud as ffff not ideal when sharing with 4 muchless 8 or 12. They also took some of my stuff when they cleaned, had to get it from the basement among all the dirty towels etc. Literally the worse place I have ever stayed and I'm from a 3rd world country. Ive seen bad and this is it.

The receptionist guy was being difficult unnecessarily. He ended up doing exactly what I had asked him in the first place but after 5 mins of back and forth. Guess he was bored. The room was right next to the smoking area so there was constant smell of cigarettes coming into the room even through the windows were closed. It was very off putting but other than that, the place has a super fun vibe, clean, location is great and crowd in general is nice with occasional creeps here and there. Didn’t have breakfast but it looked delicious from a distance. Plenty of activities/ games to enjoy with friends. Overall, good spot!

Der Frauen-Schlafraum war schön eingerichtet und gemütlich. Ich habe mich sicher gefühlt,jedoch war es auf Grund der Lage sehr stickig und dunkel.

Location was ok, rooms were in a horrific state. The beds were not cleaned at all and had so much hair (of all body parts), dirt, and stains/substances all over them. The fact that staff did not even care to change the sheets with unidentifiable substances on them is absurd. We politely asked if our room was even cleaned and the staff gave a horrible attitude and said yes. We requested a room change but the next room was just as dirty. I can not emphasize enough how dirty these rooms were and the rudeness/hostility of staff.

Espacio muy reducido para la convivencia de 4 personas en un habitación con dos literas. La puerta de la habitación no ofrece seguridad de cierre. Lavabos con puertas que no cierran, y duchas que no funcionan correctamente. Sinceramente, no volvería.

We had a king size bed for a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, we were on the 5th floor and the lift was down for at least the 3 days we were there.

We booked 2 rooms for 2 families of 5 My family and i had the room downstairs which meant at -1 level. Room quite high with big windows that couldn’t be opened. There was a small air con machine barely functioning which was really noisy. Because of that was hot and my sleep was not great. Kids were ok Second room was on the 4th floor and was extremely hot. Window could only be opened by 5-6 cm and no air con machine. Sleeping was very difficult. Kids ok (it was the end of an exhausting day) We just staid for a night so we can’t tell more. Reception and other areas nice and welcoming. Staff too

Great if you are traveling in a large group and just need a place to crash!

The bed was clean and I do like the self check-in and fast check out. But the room was too warm in summer. The fan on the floor doesn’t help the upper bed at all. The room was quite small, only a weeny space between the two beds. The bathroom is quite far away from the room.

Ótima localização, quarto espaçoso e cama confortável, bancada com tomadas pra trabalhar. Ruim- escada pra entrar no prédio sem uma rampinha para malas, área de fumantes ao lado do meu quarto, o cheiro entrava no quarto todo o tempo, foi péssimo e o pessoal conversava até a 1h da manhã.

Mejorar los baños, están terribles.

Bien situé, facile d'accès en transport... mais notre chambre donnait sur la ruelle dsvant l'auberge c'était très bruyant la nuit. Si non il manque d'ambiance .

Wonderful spot to explore London

Stayed in the 10-bed dorm mixed, as a girl and solo traveller and the hostel was a lot better than I was expecting. It’s in a great location and can be a good vibe. Theres a nightclub downstairs but it’s got a security guard so not anyone can come in. It was safe and clean. A bit of a walk to the ladies bathroom but that’s okay. The bunks don’t have curtains which I think in a mixed dorm they should. I’d brought a sarong with me by chance and just used that. I also think there should be kitchen facilities? There wasn’t anywhere to make a cup of tea or put perishable goods in the fridge. You can store luggage but not for free. Theres one tiny little elevator that serviced the whole hostel so its hard if you are moving luggage especially at the same time the staff are cleaning the rooms (which happens to be the same time as check out). Overall would stay again.
