This is by far our favorite hotel during our Greece trip...we loved the location and room ..we spent each night having a drink on our balcony looking down on the square. Loved it.

Really great hotel. A little gem right in the middle of town. If you can get a room with a church view, it’s really worth it. The staff are so helpful. They saved us money getting to our next hotel with better cab options. Just be warned if you are taking a cab, it’s a one lane street in front of the hotel so the cab driver is going to want to unload you and get going super fast!

This is our fourth stay at the Metropole. We choose this hotel for its convenient location and cute little square with cafes right next to it. It is a short drive from the airport and there is a car parking lot very close to it (not managed by the hotel). The check-in is quick and efficient, even if you arrive late due to plane delays. The rooms are clean and modern.

Alles in allem angenehmer Aufenthalt. Prompter Taxi-Service. Etwas hellhörig. Dusche, Toilette und Waschtisch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Würden das Hotel aber weiterempfehlen.

However, for the price I paid I expected to at least have a free bottle of water in the room, as well as access to an iron and hair dryer. I think those are basic necessities. Also I turned on the do not disturb button and the cleaning lady still came into the room while I was asleep. I didn’t appreciate that

Our room had frosted windows and no natural light. There was a serious water leak in the bathroom that had to be mopped but didn’t go away. The staff and location were otherwise very nice.

There was no menu to say what was avaliable & food arrived randomly. eg the bread arrived after everythingl else. Although the food was acceptable & plentiful we were given things we didn"t want but couldn't choose what type of coffee we wanted & were not given any juice. There was lots of waste because there was no choice.

I booked a Deluxe Room with a balcony and city view, but ended up on the lowest floor with a large tree directly in front—completely blocking the view. Definitely disappointing, especially considering the higher price for the “view.” Be careful when booking this room type—what you get might not match the description.
