Goya Boutique Hotel was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the property — stylish, serene, and surrounded by lush greenery. It feels like a luxurious oasis tucked away in the heart of Ubud. The food was fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether it was breakfast with a view or a quiet dinner by the pool, every meal was a treat. The service was warm, professional, and thoughtful throughout our stay. The staff made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Pictures of this hotel are extremely deceiving. I was put in a ground floor room which is effectively in the basement as hotel built into the hillside. Room was dark, no view whatsoever and most concerning was it was extremely damp. Dehumidifier was brought in after 1st night and need emptying daily which shows the extent of the damp problem. Avoid Room 110 at all costs. Toilet also needed fixing and room wasn’t ready at advertised check-in time. On the positive side, great location and great pool area.

t is a boutique hotel. There are 2 infinity pools. There is a forest view in front of you. It is a quiet and ideal hotel for resting. The hotel staff is smiling and provides very good service. It is a very clean hotel with 3 floors. The rooms are large. It has a large balcony in front. The view from the 3rd floor room was very nice. However, there was a wire fence in front of the room on the 2nd floor that we rented as a garden view room (the hotel below has removed it) which spoils the view. Breakfast was a la carte. You choose from the options and it comes to you. The presentation was very careful and nice. Everything was freshly prepared so it was hot. The hotel is close to Ubud and you can walk there. However, there is no road or sidewalk for people to walk. You have to find your way between motorcycles and cars. The most difficult aspect of Bali's trip is that pedestrians are not prioritized. You cannot enjoy those beauties while walking.

Beautiful property, great view over the valley and quiet after being set back from the main road. Plenty of restaurants nearby within walking distance and only 15mins walk to monkey palace or 20mins to ridge walk. Highlights are the pool, free daily afternoon tea, the spacious rooms and friendly staff. Wouldn't hesitate to come back!

This is my third time at Goya - I love it so much. It’s serene, quiet and beautiful. The staff here are SO lovely, from reception, to restaurant, groundskeepers and housekeeping. It’s such a nice retreat and I am so relaxed when here. The hotel was so kind to give me a parting gift for staying here three times - so unexpected and a lovely touch. The breakfast continues to be top notch from the service to the food. I was so happy to see the additional pool constructed from my last visit. I will definitely be back!

Hotel en el centro de Ubud, muy tranquilo, la zona muy buena con restaurantes, tiendas, masajes, cambio de divisas, etc..., piscinas de borde infinito con unas vista a la naturaleza fantástica, la habitación bastante grande y cómoda en la 2º planta con vistas maravillosas, el desayuno genial y si lo encargas el día antes puedes desayunar hasta las 11:00. que ya en pocos hoteles puedes desayunar a esa hora. Todo el personal un 10. Totalmente recomendado.

Vi (familie med 2 babyer) havde et fantastisk ophold. Hotellet ligger i gåafstand til vigtige attraktioner og ligger på den hyggeligste gade med caféer og butikker. Hotellets morgenmad er virkelig lækkert. Personalet er så hjælpsom, kompetente og venlige. Vi vil helt sikkert komme tilbage hertil.

It is a very clean hotel with 3 floors. The rooms are large. It has a large balcony in front. The view from the 3rd floor room was very nice. However, there was a wire fence in front of the room on the 2nd floor that we rented as a garden view room (the hotel below has removed it) which spoils the view. Breakfast was a la carte. You choose from the options and it comes to you. The presentation was very careful and nice. Everything was freshly prepared so it was hot. The hotel is close to Ubud and you can walk there. However, there is no road or sidewalk for people to walk. You have to find your way between motorcycles and cars. The most difficult aspect of Bali's trip is that pedestrians are not prioritized. You cannot enjoy those beauties while walking.

Beautiful property, great view over the valley and quiet after being set back from the main road. Plenty of restaurants nearby within walking distance and only 15mins walk to monkey palace or 20mins to ridge walk. Highlights are the pool, free daily afternoon tea, the spacious rooms and friendly staff. Wouldn't hesitate to come back!

Good location in more quiet street, good view from pool and top level rooms. I particularly liked the lounge area. Staff very friendly and breakfast great. Interior of main building and some rooms need renovations.

Beautiful, well maintained property, attentive and helpful staff, comfortable bed, amazing and generous breakfast with a lot of variety. And the pools speak for themselves. The hotel is even better in person than in the photos. Will be back next time in Ubud.

This is my third time at Goya - I love it so much. It’s serene, quiet and beautiful. The staff here are SO lovely, from reception, to restaurant, groundskeepers and housekeeping. It’s such a nice retreat and I am so relaxed when here. The hotel was so kind to give me a parting gift for staying here three times - so unexpected and a lovely touch. The breakfast continues to be top notch from the service to the food. I was so happy to see the additional pool constructed from my last visit. I will definitely be back!

Hotel en el centro de Ubud, muy tranquilo, la zona muy buena con restaurantes, tiendas, masajes, cambio de divisas, etc..., piscinas de borde infinito con unas vista a la naturaleza fantástica, la habitación bastante grande y cómoda en la 2º planta con vistas maravillosas, el desayuno genial y si lo encargas el día antes puedes desayunar hasta las 11:00. que ya en pocos hoteles puedes desayunar a esa hora. Todo el personal un 10. Totalmente recomendado.

Vi (familie med 2 babyer) havde et fantastisk ophold. Hotellet ligger i gåafstand til vigtige attraktioner og ligger på den hyggeligste gade med caféer og butikker. Hotellets morgenmad er virkelig lækkert. Personalet er så hjælpsom, kompetente og venlige. Vi vil helt sikkert komme tilbage hertil.
