We loved this hotel! The service was wonderful, the breakfast was amazing, and even though the rooms are on the small side, they were well appointed and highly functional. Having onsite laundry was incredibly helpful. The location was very convenient for accessing the trains to everything we wanted to see & do. I cannot stress enough the appreciation I have for their cleanliness standards. Their housekeeping works very hard and pays attention to every detail. There is an incredible tiki bar across the street (KRFT) and wonderful food everywhere. It is VERY quiet even though the neighborhood is bustling with tons to do. I hope I have the chance to stay here again and would recommend it for everyone.

Excellent location, excellent check in, excellent breakfast. Loved the onsen and security card for my wife (women). Next door to many restaurants. The lounge was awesome at any hour and the luggage storage was such a nice detail. Great experience. A great stay for exploring Gion district. You can walk to a beautiful temple and men can get their haircut a few doors down, highly recommended.

Dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed i hjertet af Gion. Værelset var super fint - rent, god seng og godt bad. Fin størrelse i forhold til andre hotelværelser i Japan. Det fungerede fint, at man selv hentede hvad man havde brug for i receptionen og at der var gratis vand og kaffe. Håndklæder blev hængt på ens dør, så man selv kunne skifte. Ville bo her igen, hvis jeg kom tilbage til Kyoto.

10/10 location in Gion. Walking distance to many things and public transportation. Hotel is modern and clean. Rooms are very small and those on the first floor don’t have any natural sunlight so it feels like you’re in a basement. Breakfast was very disappointing, I would not pay for that add-on and instead visit one of the coffee shops or even the Starbucks nearby.

Sengene var enormt store å romslige, men de var også veldig harde. Personell gode på engelsk, gav oss mye bra tips og triks å anbefalte oss å spise frokost ute i Kyoto istedenfor på hotellet. Det står det respekt av. Nye håndklær og vannflasker hver dag er bonus!
