Tempat yang menarik untuk dilawati. Jauh dari kesibukan kota.
Nice, indah dan selesa. Makanan yang begitu sedap. Aku akan kembali semula suatu hari nanti.

Shame could be so much better
There is no question this is a hotel in the middle of nowhere, to even get to it there is a 15 minute boat ride and when arriving at the jetty there are a lot of steps to reach the reception area and little/no help with luggage etc and therein lies the problem with the hotel! Although there is so much potential there is just no attention to anything, asking for drinks gets you directed to the bar where you wait for someone to turn up and then take 15 mins to make your drinks. There are a few staff around but they don’t really seem to get customer service beyond just bringing food to you etc. The food at dinner is a poor selection and not well prepared or presented and as I mentioned the staff just don’t seem to have any service training or skills and frankly just seemed so miserable. The pool area is clean however but again no-one will ask if you need anything, to get towels you ask at reception but as with every request you have to sign for everything at the time (every drink, every towel etc.) The rooms (we had a suite) were clean and very large, we had two floors, there is no wifi (only in reception) and the TV reception is non existent. We did the jungle walk which was an hour but other than plants you wont see any wildlife at all and the ‘highlight’ is a very dodgy and ill maintained walk across a bridge made of ladders tied together (be warned if scared of heights!) Overall fine for a night or two with expectations set fairly low, I would consider 2-3star at best.

Mixed feelings - potential wasted
Hotel has a great potential but it's totally wasted. The region is beautiful - surrounded by national park, longhouses, indigenous people, animals, but there's so much to fix there. Firstly, the hotel is just too big, too many rooms make it hard to maintain and there's definitely not that many guests to fill up three or four longhouses. One longhouse is enough to accommodate the guests, especially that people usually come for 1 or 2 nights tops. The location is amazing, breathtaking, the sunset is one of the most beautiful I've seen in my life! The rooms are ok, a bit undermaintained, but that's fine. The worst part of it I think is food. Food is so bad - of course you need to have dinner in the hotel restaurant as there is no other option, but firstly prepare to wait long time to get food, although only three tables are occupied, the food is delivered after 30-40 minutes from ordering. Secondly, it's just tasteless, the worst laksa I have eaten in Asia, the most tasteless Sarawak umai and the prices are high. Why don't you guys hire a lady from a foodcourt who would do much better work than the current cook? I don't understand how the hotel of this location and price can mess up in the basic thing such as food. We also had a trip, which was excellent. Our guide Lenny was great - he took us to the pepper plantation on the longboat, to one of the longhouses, where we had lunch and drank tuak (rice wine) and then to the waterfall where we could swim in the refreshing water. So this was expensive but great! The plus is the fact that the hotel gives a chance for employment for the indigenous people - like waitress, waiters, tours guides etc. But please invest some money to train the cook!

Boring food, bad service and dated rooms
This was supposed to be highlight our our Borneo trip but ended up being our biggest disappointment. The food was a strange mix of Asian and Western food, making it neither one nor the other. it seems like they try to satisfy all but end up with boring and tasteless food. The service level from the staff is non-existing, no help, no flexibility, no smiles or a helping hand which we experienced so many other places in Borneo. The rooms were very dated and not very clean, we had no warm water in the evening and the bed sheets were stained. This was probably an amazing place when it opened 30 years ago and it has a huge potential to become a gorgeous oasis in this beautiful place, but due to the lack of maintenance, right now it only exists due to its location, which is really sad...

Fantastic Location, disappointing service.
The boat journey across the lake to the resort and the sunsets were fantastic. The service was friendly but amateurish. The hotel itself was tired and could do with some tlc. The set menu food was dissapointing and below average.

Great location!
We stayed here only for one night after spending a night in a longhouse, which was such an amazing cultural experience and a hard act to follow. The hotel is approximately a 15 minute boat ride across the dam and the views are pretty spectacular. Check in was very efficient and our cases were taken straight from the jetty to our rooms which was very much appreciated as the walk is fairly steep. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. As we only had limited time we had a quick swim in the pool which was surrounded by plenty of sunbeds and a very nice environment. We also did the canopy walk which was ok but as we had already been on a few walks with a guide we did not really learn anything new. Dinner and breakfast was buffet style and there was plenty of choice and to a good standard. Lots of tables were reserved in the outside area for groups which was a shame as the view was very beautiful. There was free wifi in the lobby and also free table tennis. There was a pool table but did not notice if this was free of charge. The price of drinks were very expensive but that is to be expected considering the location. The tuak wine seemed to be reasonably priced but they had run out .Overall a comfortable stay but it was not the hi light of our trip, and if time had permitted I would have preferred to return to Kuching or spent another night in the longhouse.
