Gohtong Jaya is a main township in Genting Highlands at Bentong District. It was named after Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong, the chairman of Genting Group. This area houses several shops, apartments, housing areas and Genting INTI International College. There are the lower stations for the two cable car systems which are the Awana Skyway and Genting Skyway which both ascend to the top of Genting Highlands where the Genting Highlands Resort is situated. Besides that, there are also numerous tourist attractions include the Strawberry Farm, Mini Cameron Highlands Garden, Lim Goh Tong Memorial Hall and Genting Skyway Station (cable car ride).

How to Get There

It takes around 45 minutes by car to reach Gohtong Jaya, Genting Highlands from Kuala Lumpur by using Lebuhraya Kuala Lumpur – Gua Musang depends on traffic. There are options to go by KLIA Ekspres bus or Aero bus and also trains which depart from KL Sentral station. However, these buses and trains take a longer time approximately 4 to 5 hours to arrive at destination.

The Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm

This park is just located at the centre of Genting Highlands and largest Strawberry Park in Malaysia. The Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm is the perfect destination for those who want to experience for the strawberry plucking. You can pick up any strawberry you wish for RM8 per 100g. Besides Strawberry Park, there are also other attractions in this leisure park such as organic bean sprout farm, lavender farm, vegetable farm or mushroom farm. Other than that, there are also stalls where visitors can buy different strawberry products ranging from keychain to fruit jam. The opening hours are 9 am to 6 pm and the entrance fee is free.

Sky Avenue Mall

The mall is designed with convenience from low-end to high end stores. There is luxurious jewellery to branded clothing. Some of the global brands that have stores in the mall include Adidas, Calvin Klein, Clarks, Esprit, Giordano, Puma, Samsung, Skechers, and Under Armour. When it comes to dining, Sky Avenue offers a wide array of restaurants that offer various cuisines like Thai, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, and Korean food. There is also cable car which is the newly build, Awana SkyWay which brings up from the Awana station to Sky Avenue in just 10 minutes.
