The attitude of girl receptionist is very bad. There is also that we paid more RM 20 but did't give us the extra pillow and towel. I don't like it. This is the first time that I really angry to stay at a hotel. 😤😤😤😡😡😡😡😡😡

i went there last year june. the receptionist behave rudely to us. turn off the wifi so we couldnt use it at all. when we are requesting for extending, all she's doing is answer us rudely like we owed her. worst experience.

A night stop...
We just stop here for the night. The bed is clean but the room is smelly. Just good enough to sleep and leave. No window in in our "superior" room. Ok the price is reasonable but quality of the rooms must be quite different as some people seemed satisfied with theirs...

No Communication; No Power, No Water!
Although the location of the hotel seemed close to City Square Mall it was quite hard to get to considering there was a highway/big road between the two. A taxi/grabcar/uber is recommended to get to the hotel. Check-in was not bad, although a security deposit was required which isn't advertised on our booking. The hotel did seem kind of sketchy as they offered rooms by the hour. The room we received seemed as though they have not been used in a very long time. Upon walking in we were greeted with cobwebs all over, and spiders along the floor. The room was dimly lit with one light in the centre which couldn't reach the door. We thought that it would be ok as we were only there for the night, and we didn't pay much. However, at about 8pm we heard loud screams and people running around outside. We weren't sure what was going on but ignored it thinking that it was probably children playing around. This continued to throughout the hour, and at around 9pm all the lights went off and the aircon shut down. We were honestly scared at first, not sure what happened as we did hear footsteps running around outside and doors slamming. We thought it was dangerous to go outside so decided to stay in our room. 9:30pm and the lights, aircon etc were still not working. At this point I decided to try and call the hotel reception with my mobile (as I am on roaming), to see what the issue was. We were scared to go outside as we thought someone was going on hence we continually hear doors slamming, footsteps running around etc. No one picked-up the phone when we called. It was getting very hot in the room so I decided to open the door and peep out to see what was going on. I eventually managed to get myself down to the reception in darkness to see the receptionist doing calculations with her pal holding a phone torch for her. I was shocked. No communication at all. I asked her what the issue was and she said blackout, and someone is coming in 30 mins time to fix it. I was surprised she didn't let any of the guest know by visiting their rooms or anything, she acted as though nothing was wrong. We thought to ourselves that 30 min should be fine. So we waited in darkness switching from our room to the reception area to the hotel entrance to get a breeze of air. 11pm and still there was no sign of the electrician that was meant to come. We were wanting to leave the hotel at this time and change to another one, however we asked them again and they said the electrician is on the way and not to worry. We took the receptionists word for it and waited. 12am, and still nothing. At this point we were quite fed up and other guest were too. We waited a bit longer, deciding that at this time it was already hard to move to another hotel. At about 1am, a man approached the receptionist and asked whether anyone was coming or not. He wasn't happy, just like we weren't as the receptionist keep saying they will come soon or give us a number of the blue. The man told the receptionist he was willing to change hotels if this isn't fixed soon as it was getting late and he needs to sleep. The receptionist could find no words to respond. The man then said he was going to leave, the receptionist again had no response. The man then stated that he didn't need a refund for the room and he was leaving, again receptionist had no response. During this time we listened to see what was happening. Not longer later though out of no where, the power came back on. Interestingly no electrician actually visited the hotel. Maybe there wasn't anyone coming after all? Maybe it was all lies from the hotel? The next morning upon checkout there was no mention about the night before, or any apology given. They acted as though nothing had happened. Clearly not the case! Considering we had no power from 9pm to over 1am, that's over 4 hours in complete darkness and sweat. I would avoid this hotel at all cost if they are unable to effectively communicate or treat guest in a manner that was appropriate. I have attached several photos of the room and of the blackout.

Three branches, a little far from the centre but comfortable superior room
My stay was comfortable but the single room was so small I had to change to a larger, more expensive one because the only place to put my things was on the bed without knocking everything over. The single standard was as small as a room in Tokyo or Hong Kong! Another thing to remember is that there are different branches and this one is across the highway and not directly in the city centre -but you can walk about 15-20 minutes to City Square walking first past Insta Hotel then cross the busy highway. So, remember, this is the 54 Jalan Lumba Kuda branch. There are a few eateries open at night here but it's mostly Malay so little Vegetarian food is available around here. I walked to the Little India area for some vegetarian food. Room was cleaned daily, electronic key card issued and lift to 4 floors, staff were polite enough to me. Dark street to walk down at night if you don't mind that kind of thing. Shampoo and small water cups issued daily. The photo I show here (attached??) is NOT the single one, this is the superior size. Only thing that irritates me about this hotel is the music is played from a roof speaker all day from early int he morning in the corridors on all floors. I have no idea why this is.
