We went for a stay over the weekend with my toddler son to celebrate my husband's birthday. However, we were disappointed with the check-in system. There was a China tourist in front of us and there was some problem with her check-in and we had to wait 40 minutes with our toddler before our turn. The lady behind me who had just waited for 15 minutes was already getting impatient as well. The staff did not explained anything to us or ask us to go to another counter or perhaps check-in for us first. That down the mood for us but once we reached the room and saw the swimming pool, everything was forgotten. I love the breakfast buffet spread. We also love the chocolate chip cookies. Checking-out was a breeze and they gave us a tin of cookies as an apology. Great stay overall but please do something with the check-in process.

we booked 2 rooms. one the room has no coffee table despite paying the same price for both. I have to call the reception and ask. The TV remote in the room is out of battery. The wall beside the bed has a watermark/stain on it? leaking? Otherwise, the room is spacious with great pool.

Slow check in process. We had to wait for almost an hour in line even though there were only 2-3 people in front of us. Anyhow room was great, spacious. Our room even came with pull out bed. The kids love the kid pool so much. Hope to come back soon.

Aside from the comfy bed, the experience wasn't great. On our first day, we called to complain about the bathroom drain not working, the shower is flooding. I told him at the bathroom drain isn't working. The guy in the front desk said he would send someone over to check and look but no one did. When I called again to complain and ask if we can just have a different room, he laughed at me! Unbelievable. We were only staying for 3D 2N so we just decided to tough it out and leave very early in the morning. Please train your staff better. Good customer service could have saved this review. Also, no wifi. Even small cafes in Penang had free wifi, but here you'd have to sign up as member. Just book a different hotel.

I was extremely upset when the staff gave another guest the key card access to my room. Luckily I latch the door from inside. When I heard the sound of someone trying to open the door, I quickly get dressed and open it myself. To my surprise, there were 2 men (1 staff and 1 guest) trying to access my room. A minute later the receptionist called and asked for my last name. I think they got messed up with our booking during check-in. After dinner, when I return to my room my key card was not accessible to my room. Called operator using the in-house phone twice and waited for 30 minutes but no one came. I was so furious and went down to the reception myself. Got access to my room back after making some scene at the lobby which I am not proud of. Check-in was a bit slow but I was still okay until these 2 incidents happened. Wrote a feedback letter to their contact us website on the night when I was still at the hotel but until now (after 3 working days) still did not receive any reply from them. I will definitely not return back to this hotel and not recommending it to my family and friends.
