Kamala beach hotel is on the beach and Kamala has enough restaurants and shops to make it not too busy, easy to walk to town. The hotel has no children and this is a bonus if you want to relax, the staff are friendly and polite. Great facilities gym, fitness classes massages are great. I wouldn't have a problem recommending this hotel to anyone and so glad we stayed here for our first time in Thailand.

- ADULTS ONLY POLICY: THE GUEST MUST BE 16 YRS OLD OR ABOVE. You may be required to present valid government-issued identification at check-in, along with credit card or cash to cover deposits and incidentals. Special request may depend on hotel's availability at check-in and may cost extra fee. Special request availability is not guaranteed. Hotel may charge you additional fee for each extra person after reserved room's maximum capacity. - During 15 May-31 Oct 2020, our Beach Wing will be fully refurbished. All guest rooms on this wing (Deluxe Ground Terrace & Deluxe Rooms) will be closed on this period along with the Restaurant by the Sea, Pool Bar by the Sea and the 2 pools located in this area. - Grand Wing, where Grand Deluxe,Grand Deluxe Pool View and Junior Suite room types are located, will remain open across the season. The said wing boasts a garden with 2 pools, 1 pool bar,1 restaurant, 1 gym, a fitness studio and a lobby bar. Our 24-hours reception is also located in this wing. We are confident that the guests will enjoy their stay in this part of the hotel. -As you are aware, the resort has a clear divide in areas between the Beach and Grand Wing, and we will do our utmost to minimize any inconvenience and disturbance to guests who stay with us over this time. We appreciate very much in advance for your understanding.

Stayed here twice sandwiching a trip to Kuala Lumpur. I repeat my comments from my previous review. I cannot rate this hotel to highly. It’s a beautiful setting on the beach. I think it has four swimming pools of course regardless of the facilities, the thing that makes or breaks any establishment is it staff. The people here are lovely and cannot do enough for you. The local resort of Kamala is only five minutes walk away and is a nice quiet strip of restaurants, bars and shops . No excessive noise , go go bars or being pestered . Ideal location for a family or mature people who like a bit of peace and quiet. However, if you want things a bit busier PATONG is only 15 mins away . I have been to Thailand probably 20 times over the last 40 years and this is my favourite hotel.

Relaxing Adults-Only Escape with Great Cocktails & Pools This large, adults-only resort is perfect for a relaxing getaway. With multiple refreshed pools, swim-up bars, and some of the most affordable cocktails we’ve found, you could easily spend days just unwinding on-site. The beachfront location is ideal — walking distance to plenty of seaside restaurants, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The buffet breakfast was a standout — easily the best we’ve had in Phuket. We booked an Ocean Wing room hoping for a beach view, but were upgraded to the Grand Wing. Though it was a bit farther from the beach, the bigger bed and closer proximity to the beautiful atrium-style pools made it a great trade-off. Since we visited during the Green Season, the sheltered pools away from the beach were perfect — warm, sunny, and free from wind and sand. Located right next to the family-friendly Sunwing Resort, it’s a spot we’ll definitely return to — this time with the kids! Kamala Beach is a relaxed town and still just a short taxi ride from the buzz of Patong.

It is in a good location. Alot of Europeans who stay over the winter. Good area in front of hotel for swimming - altho not for snorkelling. Good massage on site. I moved rooms 3 times. 1st room, on ground floor, dark and smelt damp. 2nd room above, had noisy neighbours stomping about upstairs. Finally, 3rd room, top floor...ok. All have old aircon system, either noisy or not cooling room. Thks to 1 European staff member for all their help.

We enjoyed everything about this property. Very large resort. Food and massages at the resort were reasonably priced. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Right on the beach with regular entertainment. Also great night markets just outside. Great spot and not as hectic as Patong. Loved the adults only tesort. Family area also available next door.

Great central location. Beach bars and restaurants one way, and small main shopping the other. The resort restaurant and pools were great also.

Relaxing Adults-Only Escape with Great Cocktails & Pools This large, adults-only resort is perfect for a relaxing getaway. With multiple refreshed pools, swim-up bars, and some of the most affordable cocktails we’ve found, you could easily spend days just unwinding on-site. The beachfront location is ideal — walking distance to plenty of seaside restaurants, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The buffet breakfast was a standout — easily the best we’ve had in Phuket. We booked an Ocean Wing room hoping for a beach view, but were upgraded to the Grand Wing. Though it was a bit farther from the beach, the bigger bed and closer proximity to the beautiful atrium-style pools made it a great trade-off. Since we visited during the Green Season, the sheltered pools away from the beach were perfect — warm, sunny, and free from wind and sand. Located right next to the family-friendly Sunwing Resort, it’s a spot we’ll definitely return to — this time with the kids! Kamala Beach is a relaxed town and still just a short taxi ride from the buzz of Patong.

Fantastic HOTEL. Great location, amazing staff . Good food and drink 5 stars for everything. I will definitely stay in this hotel every time I come to Phuket in future .

Great resort to just unwind and relax, with easy access to the beach, swimming pools and great dining options. So many activities can be booked through the hotel as well as easy pick up and drop off transport. We had a great time!

It is in a good location. Alot of Europeans who stay over the winter. Good area in front of hotel for swimming - altho not for snorkelling. Good massage on site. I moved rooms 3 times. 1st room, on ground floor, dark and smelt damp. 2nd room above, had noisy neighbours stomping about upstairs. Finally, 3rd room, top floor...ok. All have old aircon system, either noisy or not cooling room. Thks to 1 European staff member for all their help.

We enjoyed everything about this property. Very large resort. Food and massages at the resort were reasonably priced. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Right on the beach with regular entertainment. Also great night markets just outside. Great spot and not as hectic as Patong. Loved the adults only tesort. Family area also available next door.
