Sehr schönes Hotel in super Lage, ruhig, Bilderbuchbucht. Super zum baden und entspannen und ein wenig Wassersport - sonst wenig los. Am Rande der Buch kann man auch ein wenig schnorcheln, aber man darf jetzt nicht zu viel erwarten. Sehr abgelegen, drei Hotels in der Bucht sonst nichts. Taxi in den Ort kostet pauschal 200 Bhat. Wir hatten zwei Seaview-Rooms, die hervorragend und sauber und modern waren, direkt am Pool mit tollem Meerblick. Die zwei Pools waren angenehm kühl und sauber, viele Liegen am Pool. Am Strand leider etwas zu wenig Liegen. Anlage wirkte sehr sauber und gepflegt. Sehr freundliches Personal toller (kostenloser) Transfer vom Pier (Festland) zum Hotel und zurück Nicht ganz so gut: - Frühstück war etwas eintönig und etwas lieblos aber insg. gut. Spendiert dem armen Koch an der Eierstation mal eine größere Plancha, auf zwei kleinen Pfannen dauert es manchmal zu lange. - Essen im Restaurant war qualitativ in Ordnung, sehr große Auswahl aber nichts besonderes allerdings für thailändische Verhältnisse völlig überteuert. - schade ist, dass die Essen praktisch nie gleichzeitig serviert wurden. Wenn die einen fertig waren, bekamen die andere erst ihr Essen. Das macht es trotz der tollen Atmosphäre leider etwas ungemütlich.

This was a spontaneous trip to Koh Samet and found this gem on Expedia. I originally booked for one night but upon arrival I realized this was paradise so decided to stay for 2 nights The manager Knot was extremely helpful, polite and professional. He took great care of us and the entire stay was enjoyable. From the breakfast to the clean rooms to the views and more, this place should be on your bucket list. I will be back. Thank you to the entire staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful

Please be informed that rooms with adjoining beds for children who are residing in the same room with parents are subject to the compulsory shuttle boat and extra breakfast fee which is to be paid directly at the resort. Please note that guests are not permitted to choose 31 December as the departure date. Our complimentary breakfast at Samed Club, Baan Ploy and Baan Supparod is a breakfast set (not buffet). Starting November 1, 2017, all guests must pay the admission fee of THB 200 per adult per visit and THB 100 per child per visit in cash upon check-in at the property due to rules and regulations of Royal Forest Department of Thailand. The credit card used for payment at the time of booking needs to be shown upon check-in. The name of the guest checking in must match the reservation. If guest presented a credit card that is not used to make payment at the time of the booking, the property will cancel the transaction on the credit card used when booking and put the charge on the presented credit card.
For customers who make reservations from Friday, July 9, 2021 onwards and wishing to use the parking lot, there will be a parking fee of 100 baht per car per night (pay to the staff at the service point).

Beautiful hotel, massive room with great view. Breakfast buffet loads of choice. Staff friendly & helpful. 2 pools but stayed on beach the whole time. Loved it so much I extended my stay.

Vi fick uppleva några fina solnedgångar vid Ao Prao. Stranden är fin men rätt så smal vid högvatten. OK pooler som alternativ. Det finns ett par restauranger i Ao Prao fast utbudet är rätt begränsat. Bra ställe om man söker lugn och ro.

The beach makes you feel like you're in paradise - very clean and beautiful. Our room was very spacious and clean. You can exchange money directly in the hotel which was very helpful. We really liked the breakfast buffet with the soup station. They varied the warm dishes also from day to day. What we missed was a station to fill up water during the day. You only receive 2 bottles of water per person per day which isn't enough on hot days. For the price we payed they could offer unlimited free water during the stay. We stayed in smaller not so exclusive hotels before and they all had unlimited water for the guests. The prices for food and drinks in the resort are too high so that we only ate there 2 from 6 nights. The other nights we had dinner outside and also snacks for lunch because it's nearly double the price then outside. Walking in the centre takes about 20 minutes.

Was the perfect spot to unwind after a crazy few days in Bangkok. Beautiful quiet beach. You don’t even have to leave the resort as there is a few restaurants on the strip to choose from. But if you did want to you can easily take a taxi into the township where there is so much to explore. Note Ao Prao also has its own private speed boat & pier to arrive on.
