Holiday Inn Express & Suites BARDSTOWN by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Not well kept. Ants in the breakfast area. Towels were soiled. Pool area was dirty with a broken window covered by cardboard. Doors didn’t shut easily. Not surprised that there were very few guests. Would NOT stay there again. Staff refused to give me a receipt for the stay. Very disappointing experience. 👎☹️

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Bardstown, KY. It was very clean, quiet, and the breakfast selection was EXTENSIVE. The biggest breakfast selection I've personally ever seen staying at a hotel. The only downside of our stay was that the pool was too cold for us to swim in. Otherwise, our stay could not have been any better!

Clean room. Comfortable beds and pillows. Clean bathroom.

While the hotel has recently been refurbished it was still missing the finer touches. Rooms had been recently painted, carpeted and tiled but doors didn't close due to tiles being higher. First room had no hot water.

Nice hotel but is starting to look a bit aged. The shower floor was cracked and the flooring was peeling under the sink.

Pretty good location with easy access. Breakfast was disappointing and lobby area wasn’t as clean as it should be.

Staff were nice. Everything clean and comfortable. We even booked the next day as well because we decided to stay longer.

Loved it! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable.

The property was very far off the highway. They were very hard to book online but that might have been Expedia issues. They sold our room but luckily they had someone else not show up.

I was very disappointed staying here because I left my prescription glasses and they were not turned in by housekeeping. Obviously its my fault for leaving them but its frustrating that they could have been returned had housekeeping turned them in. I called many times to see if it had been recovered and it was never treated as a priority or as if they cared. If it hadn't been for that, I would have given it 5 stars.

It was decent but my shower was cold

Very nice property with very nice employees. The breakfast was nice with options, the pool was nice but really cold. The showers need something on the actual flooring because it is very slippery. Will stay again.

Room was not clean,Bathroom had black handprints all over, only had 2 towels when we had 4 people on the reservation, food was ok

Easy drive to downtown

Checked in around 630pm and was told the room i reserved was no longer available. Was offered a lesser room which i had no choice but to accept. Was given keycards to the room. Entered the room which was filthy, literally. Overflowing garbage, unmaid beds, linens on the ground. Made the front desk aware and was given keycards to another room. Entered that room. Room was also filthy. Overflowing garbage and beds weren't made. Another trip to the front desk. Obviously frustrated at this point, i was given keycards to yet another room. This time on a different floor. This room finally appeared clean, but had no linens/towels in the bathroom and no remote for the TV. Terrible experience. No management. Over all terrible hotel!

Highly recommend! From the time we entered we were greeted with smiles. Very clean and great breakfast!
