everything went great. Smooth and easy checkin

It had finished updates and was very clean

Room looked newly remodeled but still needed repairs. Missing light. The blind pulled down but the curtain didn’t close so you saw the light from the street lights in your window. The unit in the room was dated and very loud.

The air conditioning system had to have been from the 70’s. Never seen one that old. It leaked water. And the remote was a mess. The batteries were taped in and it was hard to change the channel

I'll never stay here again. It was better when it was asleep in with Choice Privileges. They made me give a $50 deposit when I checked in and when I checked out they said they released the $50 back on my card but it's been 2 weeks and it's still not on there and the room was spotless when I left it it was dirty before and the property is just garbage the food is mushy and taste like cardboard the area is terrible

easy checkin

We arrived late after a 6 hr drive. I've been reading reviews on this property since we booked room. Some were not good. We took a chance and very glad we did. Under construction for sure. But the staff there makes up for any inconvenience that might be there. Shout out to the husband and wife team John and Debbie who both do multiple jobs there.John has been with the company 10 yrs. That's what i call loyalty.Also Christine front desk and Steve in maintanence. They have been under construction for awhile. All the staff are great and will do what it takes to get the job done. I don't often write reviews but the folks that work at this place all NEED A RAISE to show that management appreciates the service they do to keep their jobs and make the owners money. It's very hard working in the service industry I know I worked at Olive Garden for 30 years. People are hard to please.These folks do a fabulous job with what they have to work with. One down side NO HOT TEA not everyone drinks coffee. Nice to have something hot in the morning. Over all Great Time at THE BLUEGRASS MUSEUM AND SHOWS in Owensboro Ky. Hope to return in June for the ROMP FESTIVAL. Shout out to MISS SALLY at the museum also. Check it out we have no regrets.

Not good beginning w parking. The lot was full of mattresses and building materials. The lobby was ok but the elevator was scary. Room was very distressed. Looks at the pictures. They will better describe the situation.

Very nice room. Clean,quiet, and reasonabĺy priced.

The room is consistently spotless, and the bed is always perfectly made. The staff are friendly, helpful, and truly exceptional. I love staying here!

This property is being renovated. I was told the 2nd floor has NOT be renovated so stay on the 1st or 3rd. The rooms are very nice but may be missing a few miscellaneous like a coffee pot, and the food items were not "completely" stocked yet for breakfast. I loved the price and that is rare these days. This is a nice hotel in transition. This hotel is out of the way yet easy to access anything in town you wanted. Loved every one of the staff. OBVIOUSLY, I will be going back there on my next trip to Owensboro!

Highly recommend! The room exceeded expectations, breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. A perfect stay.

I booked for a room Saturday and did not see anything that said no pets allowed. I don't recommend the hotel if you have pets. And didn't get a refund.

easy check in and no problems

Staff at check in were fabulous!!!! Two lamps in my room did not work, one didn’t even have a light bulb in it

Cleanliness was terrible. First room was filled with bugs - multiple alive and dead stink bugs on the pillow and windows, multiple dead ladybugs. The office chair had crumbs on it and the phone was dead. When we when down and told the front desk, they gave another room 2 rooms over which initially looked ok. While we were looking around this room, obviously unhappy with the situation, the guy straight up told us, "you can cancel your reservation" instead of apology or trying to fix . When we came back to the room 2 hours later had >10 live stink bugs and we found more ladybugs. The rooms were very cramped and the bed lights were not working. These are supposed to be newly renovated rooms. I would never go back there.

Our stay was pleasant. The rooms were nice and clean and new. The hotel is under renovations and there were some quirks as a result. Or first room had a new shower valve that would not stop dripping. The folks were kind to let us move rooms right away. Our door was tough to close because the bar lock was not aligned correctly after painting. And we had some key issues as well, but were taken care of promptly. My favorite part of our stay was the fact that the hotel is operated by LOCALS and the gentleman at the desk called me by name through our 5 day stay.
