When I arrived to check in they gave me a room I didn’t book. When I asked to get the room I booked they asked me why I needed so much space. Odd. The morning after my check in people allegedly working for the hotel (this is what they said when questioned) were banging on trash like old refrigerators and other junk right outside the window at 7am. Later on that day management tried to enter the room while occupied and I was naked. This is an unsafe place for any minority I was targeted along with my partner for harassment These people are mean and disgusting humans.

Our stay was really great, we were skeptic at first but surprised at how clean and nice the rooms were compared to reviews! Cleaning services were very helpful when we needed more towels and very nice about when we were in during cleaning sweep. Overall great customer service, great location!

Room smelled like smoke, air conditioning smelled of a strong urine scent, main window didn’t have sufficient blind coverage, bathroom window didn’t have a working screen, the floors in the main room were dirty/stained, and the counters were sticky with residue. Checked out after about 15 minutes. The overall atmosphere of the property is sketchy with no redeeming qualities.

Good location Poor condition of property

Waren über die Jahre oft da wegen der super Lage - wurden dieses Mal ich sag mal Untergeschoss untergebracht und der Geruch im Zimmer schon echt sehr muffig. Zusätzlich war der Zugang und auch Gang vor Zimmrr zu diesem Bereich extra mit Gittern gesichert - im Knast sieht es ähnlich aus.

The room smelled like cigarets, the AC and half the lights didn't work, and after I killed the third cockroach I left to sleep in my car.

Nice location. Little bit old and matresses were uncomfy but overall nice place and nice staff.

The man who checked me in was OUTRAGEOUSLY MEAN AND UNNECESSARILY RUDE to me upon check-in ... He made me feel TOTALLY UNWELCOME and that he didn't want me there -- There is a very small cash deposit due upon check-in and I apologized and told him that I had stayed here a few months ago, and I forgot about that, as it is the ONLY hotel that I've stayed at in the US and Europe and South America that requires a CASH deposit --NOT CREDIT CARD -- He got SUPER ANGRY AT ME!!! He shouted at me "If you stayed here a long time ago or short time ago you should know!!!" -- My mouth dropped to the floor!! -- I couldn't believe it -- I asked him if I could check-in and then return in 20 minutes with the cash -- he said yes. The room was nice, clean -- but his unnecessary meanness to me (I'm almost 60 years of age) a COMPLETE STRANGER and a customer who had just paid to stay there for 5 nights has officially made me not EVER EVER EVER want to do business with Hollywood La Brea Inn EVER again. was a reliable hotel stay with great location within walking distance to the walk of fame, free parking, rooms were satisfactory for the price, spacious and had a fridge inside. Only downer was the noise. the walls are thin you can hear you neighbor or people out in the hallway balcony. Other than that the hotel was good stay.
