Relais la Ghinghetta

Fantastiskt fint hotell precis vid havet. Väldigt trevlig och service inriktad personal. Fin takbar med utsikt där vi kunde se solnedgången. Staden kanske inte är den roligaste med stora industrier men detta är en liten pärla till hotell. Enda minus var att det inte fanns parkering inom hotellet samt att sängarna var väldigt hårda.

Fuldstændig fantastisk hotel. Beliggenheden kunne ikke være bedre og hotelværelset var virkelig flot og fremstod fuldstændig nyrenoveret, rent og virkelig gennemført, nok det bedste hotelværelse jeg nogensinde har boet i. Virkelig hyggelig tagterrasse med fantastisk udsigt, men særligt betjeningen er værd at fremhæve, om det var til morgenmaden, til en lille snack eller til drinks, så stod personalet klar til at give dig den absolut bedste oplevelse.

Unsere Zeit im Hotel la Ghinghetta direkt am Strand von Portoscuso war wunderschön und absolut entspannend. Das kleine, freundliche Hotel punktet mit einer Direktlage am öffentlichen Sandstrand– wir haben jeden Morgen den ersten Schritt aus dem Zimmer auf die Dachterrasse mit tollem Blick aufs Meer gemacht. Die Zimmer sind modern, hell, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und immer sehr sauber genau das Richtige, um sich wohlzufühlen. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag ein Highlight: frisch, abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Die Aussicht vom Zimmer und Frühstücksraum aufs Meer war fantastisch – zum Wohlfühlen und Genießen. Das Personal ist durchweg herzlich, aufmerksam und immer hilfsbereit – ein echtes Plus! Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: Portoscuso ist eine winzige Hafenstadt, deren direkte Umgebung von Industrie geprägt ist. Das fällt beim ersten Blick auf und wirkt im Kontrast zur schönen Hotelatmosphäre etwas abschreckend. Wer sich darauf einlässt, findet aber im Zentrum und am Hafen einige nette kleine Restaurants, die zum Verweilen und Genießen einladen.

Location is amazing. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing get away highly recommend. Staff super helpful, and local restaurants delicious.

Ein wundervolles kleines und feines Hotel mit ruhiger Lage, idyllisches Städtchen, einem Badestrand direkt unterhalb und wirklich sehr zuvorkommendes und liebes Personal. Wir hatten dort eine sehr schöne Zeit und wären gern noch länger geblieben. Italienisches Flair!

This is a very well appointed hotel with very comfortable beds, high quality bedding and truly excellent service. All members of staff work hard to make our stay enjoyable.

Nettes kleines Hotel! Wir waren 4 Tage dort und fahren im September wieder! Da es in einem nicht so touristischen erschlossenen Dörflein liegt, haben viele Lokale auch nur von Juni bis September offen. Mietauto zahlt sich aus :-)

Stunning hotel, staff a pleasure to interact with - not a single thing to fault. Worth going out of your way for. Images are of a deluxe room.

All the staff and their service were excellent, especially Rodney and Frederika. The hotel is in a wonderful location, however our room 007, although beautifully presented, was on a very public footpath which was disconcerting and the music noise from the bar next door went until after midnight. When we come next time we would prefer a room higher up and away from the noise. Thank you.

Great location and staff

This was one of my favourite stays of our trip. The hotel was immaculate, the scenery was amazing, there was a beach right off the property and another one close by with a short but lovely walk. The staff was very helpful with all of their recommendations and I felt so relaxed here overall. I can’t recommend this stay enough!

L’hôtel a gentiment proposé de nous upgrader. Notre chambre était grande et belle avec une vue magnifique sur la mer, c’était magique. Le personnel était adorable, la propreté irréprochable, à recommander vivement !

Schönes Hotel direkt am kleinen Sandstrand. Tolles Frühstück und freundliches Personal. Zimmer wie auf den Fotos sehr ansprechend, aber leider sehr hellhörig. Die Klimaanlage war auch sehr laut. Aus den Abflüssen hat es manchmal unangenehm gerochen.

Little gem of a hotel tucked away in a beautiful corner of SW Sardinia. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room is spacious enough and modern, but with a local/maritime touch on the decor. Breakfast is excellent: you get the continental options + separate menu with items that are cooked for you by the virtuoso lady right there. Unfortunately, they closed their restaurant a few years ago but you can get light meals for lunch and dinner (for the latter, lasagna or melanzane parmigiano are to die for, home made by someone nearby). Sunsets from the roof terrace are beautiful, you can also sip cocktails as you watch, and chat away with Rodney (husband of the lady who cooks breakfast), who is fun company and always full of conversation. There is a small beach steps away, it does not belong to the hotel (Italian families come eagerly!) but you can ask for an umbrella at the reception (nothing is too much trouble for them, really!) Water is amazing, and you get both sandy and rocky part. For parking, they give you a resident permit for the duration of your stay, and you can park on any street nearby (we always found a place). Really happy with our stay, amazing memories, thank-you to all the staff!

The hotel is small and nice with 9 rooms. Our room has a nice view of the sea and the bathroom was big and had a lovely view. The staff were nice and helpful.

We were two couples travelling Sardinia and La Ginghetta really exceeded our expectations. Wonderful rooms, very clean but above all amazing staff! Everyone were so friendly and service minded, from those working at front desk, cleaning, breakfast serving and sky bar. You made our stay so special and memorable- thank you. We hope to come back again!

Wir hatten einen 12 tägigen Traumurlaub. Das Hotel ist sehr familiär und wunderschön. Die Hotelangestellten erfüllten uns jeden Wusch, wie z.B. Wurst und Käse zum Frühstück. Es gab alles was das Herz begehrte. Der tolle Blick übers Meer lies den Tag schön herrlich beginnen. Der kleine Ort Portoscuso hatte im Juni nichts von Massentourismus... wir haben nichts vermisst. Wenn es etwas zu verbessern gäbe, dann nur das an der Badebucht am Hotel keine Liegestühle und Schirme vorhanden sind. Da wir aber eh ein Auto hatten, sind wir einfach an andere tolle Buchten gefahren. Wir kommen sicher wieder einmal in dieses schöne Hotel.

Well designed hotel. We had a very nice room with a beautiful seaview. Outstanding breakfast with homemade specialties on roof tetrace with magnificent view. Well managed with a most friendly and serviceminded staff. Nice city square round the corner. Small beach next to hotel and large beach within reach. Neighboring San Antioco with crypt/part of necropol under Basilica de Sant Antioco definitely worth visiting, ferry bosat trip to San Pietro also recommendable.
