A perfect place for a Dunedin stay; quiet, comfortable, and very close to everything.

Good size room and very comfortable stay. Lovely spacious clean bathroom with huge spa bath that was enjoyed. Pleasant views over the city and University. Close to cafes and easy walk to Uni campus. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

My wife and I had the best stay in Dunedin at the Bluestone. Our room was more than what we had expected, spacious, clean, warm, and quiet. We couldn't have asked for more friendly and helpful staff. The Bluestone was very handy to the University, cafes, and shops. Will definitely stay again.

Comfortable, clean and spacious accommodation that was convenient for our short stay in Dunedin. The owners were friendly and the room was well-equipped with all the amenities you'd need. The only downside was the loud music we could hear from a nearby venue (our stay did include Friday and Saturday nights) well into the night. Apart from this we would highly recommend this place.

Very clean and well maintained.

Bluestone on George provides an immaculate, serene hotel room perfect for couples. The owners also offer small bottles of wine and a cheese and cracker plate available during happy hour in the lobby sitting area. It feels almost as though you’re sitting in an elegant home. The the courtyard is well kept and clean. Parking is free, which is a bonus! We were able to walk to most everywhere in downtown Dunedin from the hotel. The owners are on site and actually must have an apartment above or below the reception area. There were a few times we had questions during our multi day stay and needed to ring a buzzer because they were hard at work elsewhere in the hotel. I would say the benefit of them being the owners and Onsite regularly is everything runs smoothly. If I had to search for a negative, which is hard to do, it would be that I felt bad, interrupting their work to ask questions. For those with mobility issues, there is a working elevator and handicapped spaces. If you arrive late, and all parking spaces are taken the walk of the very short hill to reception is quite steep. There was always ample parking for us the whole time we were there so that was not an issue. I’m just mentioning that for others reading this review. We selected a top floor loft, which had a small step out balcony with views of the area towards George Street. Very nice to open the doors to see he balcony.

This is a wonderful hotel. Everything about the facility is luxurious. The room was spacious, the bathroom had heated floors and a spa bathtub, the bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows (of different firmness for how you sleep). There was a kitchenette with dishes, microwave, toaster, kettle, and clothes washer/dryer. We would definitely stay here again.

This was part of a long trip, the accommodation was stunning, within walking distance to the city.

Beautiful new property with a very nice and functional design. The rooms are spacious with a terrace and a courtyard. We would highly recommend Bluestone and would stay here again.

This place was perfect for what we needed. I loved how all the little details were thought of to make it a really relaxing stay. Great views and facilities in the room.

Bluestone on George is a very well maintained and comfortable hotel on the high side of George Street. It is a comfortable 15 minute walk to the centre of Town and 5 minutes more to the station. The hosts were friendly and dealt with our one minor problem quickly. We would not hesitate to use this hotel again.

Loved our three night stay at Bluestone On George. Our room was on the third floor with a small balcony. Location was very walkable to nearby restaurants and the Octagon though walking up from the street to the hotel entrance can be a little steep for some. Convenient On-Site parking. Our room was impeccably clean and comfortable. Location is convenient to visiting nearby sites and reasonable drives to Moeraki, The Royal Albatross Centre or a nice days outing to Nugget Point Lighthouse.

Very nice accommodation. Great location with parking that is within walking distance of the town center and numerous restaurants. Laundry machines in the rooms was a plus.

Very comfortable and clean hotel. Friendly service with nice touches to make for a very pleasant stay.
