Batanes Seaside Lodge

With breathtaking views of the bustling dock brimming with ships and blue waters, and the tranquil Pacific Ocean, the Batanes Seaside Lodge and Restaurant is the best choice for budget travellers who want to experience Batanes in all its glory. The lodge has two branches; the main branch along the beach, and the annex at the heart of Basco.

The seaside lodge has a total of 15 cozy Filipino-themed rooms. Each room has air conditioning, a private bathroom with hot and cold shower, LED TV with cable, a seating area, and comfortable beds that promise a good night’s sleep. The rooms were designed to cater to large groups and families looking to make the most out of their budget.

The lodge is lovingly maintained by the dedicated staff. The in-house restaurant features healthy and organic meats and authentic Ivatan dishes such as; bistek, yellow ginger rice, uved (a local dish made from banana roots), lunis (deep fried pork), sweet potato, and delicious varieties of local fish. Aside from serving dine-in guests, the restaurant also offers catering packages for your events. It is open to serve guests for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Guests can also choose to make the quick walk to the beach for a swim, or join a pre-organized tour prepared by the lodge.

The lodge is walking distance from the island’s only gas station which offers bike rentals and has a restaurant. While an internet cafe, convenience stores, canteens, and mini markets are just a 10 minute walk away. The famous Batanes lighthouse can be reached by foot in 30 minutes and even less via motorbike. Batanes Seaside Lodge is about five kilometers or a 10 minute ride to the airport. The hotel offers free shuttle services to and from the airport.
