Great place to stay but apparently closing soon for renovations.

Best location in V&A close to everything. A bit tired but very nice. This is the place anless you want to pay much more for the ultra luxury places. Recommended.

This is the no 1 location in Capetown. Close to everything and a 5 star hotel with immaculate service! No question as to why all celebrities, athletes and top leaders come to stay here. It is simply the best option!

The service and staff were wonderful. The hotel was beautiful. Breakfast was exceptional. We loved our view of the mountains and the water.

My husband and I recently stayed at The Bay Hotel, choosing this property to celebrate our anniversary and enjoy a relaxing end to our 21-day trip in South Africa. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of the expectations we had. Firstly, we noted ongoing construction around the hotel during our stay, which made it difficult to enjoy your outdoor areas and impacted our overall relaxation, especially during breakfast when the noise was particularly disruptive. Had we known about the construction, we might have planned differently. Additionally, upon checking in, we were surprised by the lack of acknowledgment of our anniversary, despite including a note about this in our booking. A warm welcome, or even a small acknowledgment, would have added a meaningful touch, especially for such a special occasion. Lastly, the cleanliness of our room did not meet expectations; specifically, we found hair in the bathroom, which was quite unpleasant. For a hotel of this caliber, attention to detail in cleanliness is essential, especially considering the premium pricing. While we appreciate the efforts of your staff, these issues detracted from our experience, and we wanted to share this feedback in hopes that it might be helpful for future guests.

Beautiful hotel in a great location on Table Bay easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and attractions. Most amazing and delicious breakfast buffet. The staff are professional and friendly.

Unfortunately the hotel relies solely on the location of the hotel and not the service It took 3 times( more than 16 hours) for the reception /maintenance to send someone to check the shower drain in the room and no apologies or follow up was done. I was never asked at the front desk if I needed anything or when checking out how was my stay. This hotel was very overpriced for its lack of service

Beautiful property, 10 min walk from stores and waterfront restaurants. Staff was friendly but could’ve provided a bit more attentive service regarding email communications.

Service was not the best! Spa was very poor. Booked a treatment. They were not ready and unable to do what was booked!
