Thousand Hills Resort Hotel

No housekeeping on our room. Requested at least some clean towels. Took 3 calls and over 3 hours to have some dumbed st our door.

I have stayed at Thousands Hills several times. The last stay will probably bey last. They push this time share presentation to much, I shouldn't have to say no 10 times. It took 3 trips back down to the lobby to get a key that works. When I finally get into the room, it wasn't clean. I tried to talk to the manager on duty, and got the response of, "I'm a front desk manager, I can't do anything about maintenance or housing keeping not doing their job." I complained about how the 9th floor (you pay extra to stay on the ninth floor." smelled like pot, nothing was done about it.

Disgusting rooms. Stayed in Branson at least once a year for over 30 years and this was the only time I’ve ever left a hotel after checking in. First room I was put in door was open and beds were not made. They put me in a new room and the walls had brown liquid spilled all down them. In the main room and the bathroom both. Fire whoever you pay to “clean” and get people that actually do their job. Sales manager working 7/31/2025 at 5pm told me “this stuff happens when you have 500 rooms. Doesn’t matter where you go in Branson” The other hotel we rented two rooms out is also a large establishment and was extremely clean. Terrible service, terrible cleanliness. Would never recommend

Everything was great!

The breakfasts were good, but there’s no variety from day to day. The breakfast staff did a great job to take care of the crowd. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were okay.

Room looked nothing like pictures on the add. The carpet, bedding, chair and room in general reminded me of 1998 not 2023-2025 as the add showed. AC couldn't cool like it needed. Was 75 outside and had it set of 60 in the room and never got super cold all night.

We found used fake eyelashes in our bed. When we went and told the management they cleaned the room but left the eyelashes on the bed after making it. We then found more in the bed after. There was also mold in the bathroom.

NO air conditioning in hallways, elevators, or lobby which was very uncomfortable the end of July! The air conditioning in the room was very comfortable at whatever temperature you desired. We had an upgraded King room, but had what seemed like a toddler toilet because it sat very low to the ground. Concierges were very helpful booking tickets for all shows.

Wildwood bar is the BEST!

There was trash with smelly dirty diapers and beer cans left over from guest before, shower left uncleaned from guest before

The staff was great , very clean facilities inside and out.

The hotel was very large, had a lot of guests in and out so the hotel is very busy, but expected because of the location. Loved that it was close to the strip so we could walk rather than drive, be prepared it is on a massive hill. However the pool was very small, the workout room was small, the coffee shop I felt closed to early. The room could use some updating, and cleaned a bit better. The pictures on here look better than it actually was. The bed was clean however the walls were dirty gross, the handrails in the shower still had soap scum on them. The minifride in the room worked but was pretty small, bring a cooler if you want cold drinks. We were there 3 nights and they never stopped to give us fresh towels we had to go get them. I was bothered that they tried to hook me into attending one of their informational lectures on saving money while on vacation upon checking in. They said it wasnt to buy a timeshare, but who knows what they wanted to sell me. The veterans hall was awesome to look at. Breakfast was just the basic hotel breakfast, and they didnt offer free coffee in the commons area that I saw. You had to have a ticket to eat breakfast and grab your coffee, which they negelected to give me while checking in, I was informed from another guest on those. We didnt visit the bar, but did visit the restaurant bar, the appetizer was good, the bar tender was friendly..it seemed a little disorganized in there but wasnt bad, just an average place.

It was a quiet place to stay. It is close to lots of shopping places. It was clean and the staff was friendly.

The hotel was dated. The staff very nice. The breakfast and restaurant was good. The pool area very small for such a large hotel. Location is great.

It was my families first vacation in 12 years! This is the first hotel my daughter has ever stayed at. Only complaint any of us had was how hot it was in the hallways and elevator when we arrived. But rooms after ac was turned on was cold and amazing. Checkout was hectic with so many people leaving at once. Overall we had a good experience.

The property was very dated, there was little to no AC in the common areas. The Jack Henry’s restaurant was very poorly staffed in the evening. The morning staff was excellent! The bar tender, Carolyn, in Wildwood bar was fabulous.

The AC was not working in the halls or near the elevators and it was 100 degrees outside. AC also was not working well in the room. Slept hot. There was mold growing on the carpet underneath the nightstand where something had obviously been spilled prior to our stay. Our feet were black if we walked around barefoot too much. We could never get an answer at the front desk to order more towels or toilet paper so we ended up walking down. Our key continuously would not work. They kept telling us not to put it near electronics but I held it in my hand from the desk to the room door at one point and it still wiped. It would not work. We roughed it out because it was a good price but I don’t think I will return.

The room was in terrible state. Floor rug was sticky and dirty and had chewing gum stuck on it. It felt so dirty that we didn’t wanted to keep a single step bare foot. Room service was terrible. Bathroom was so small and dryer was full of dirt and hair stuck on it. You need to wait in long queue for breakfast and it is same food option everyday with no bread option.
