Absolut perfektes Hotel. Super sympathisches Gastgeber-Ehepaar. Sehr schön, stilvoll und modern eingerichtete Zimmer. Ausgezeichnetes Essen und äusserst reichhaltiges Frühstück. Der Gastgeber bietet Wildlife-Beobachtungstouren an, von denen wir profitieren konnten. Peter war ein sehr profunder und kompetenter Kenner des Tierlebens auf der Isle of Mull. Shaley die wundervollste Gastgeber während unserer ganzen Reise durch Schottland.

Lovely room and great host.

A late booking due to ferry disruption at Oban . We’re very happy that we stayed here to get the Lochaline ferry to Mull the next day. It couldn’t have been better. The room was very clean & comfortable , the breakfast excellent & the owners a lovely friendly couple . A real find !

The owners were very friendly and made us pizza for dinner and a lovely breakfast. We explored the beach across the street and went for a short hike nearby. Our room was comfortable and recently updated. It was a very pretty ride from the ferry.

Really enjoyed our stay. Very scenic area, saw porpoises several times and lovely areas to sit and look over the sea , and great place to swim . Lovely hosts .

A fantastic place to stay for a night. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Was lucky to get the front room with great views over to Mull. Easy walk up to the rest of the village, and very close to the ferry terminal. Great breakfast!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the food was great and the beds were comfortable. The location is excellent, out-of-the-way, with prime vies over the Sound of Mull and Ardtornish Castle, and wildlife all around.

The nicest stay my wife and I encountered during our ten day tour of Scotland. Lochaline is a place of stunning beauty just a short ferry ride from the Isle of Mull. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating preparing delicious breakfasts and dinners every day. Our room had an incredible view of the inland sea, mountains and 700 year old castle ruins. When upon our departure we discovered a flat tire on our vehicle, our hosts helped us by contacting an area garage and gave us the tools we needed to remedy the issue. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone interested in a wonderful vacation experience.

Excellent stay in a very welcoming atmosphere, journey to this hotel is stunning, accommodation is clean and modern with excellent shower, the view from our room was amazing to say the least, we walked to the local social club at the ferry terminal which was the hub of the community and had a great time with the staff and patrons welcome refreshing.

The Lochaline Hotel is located in the tiny village of Lochaline, which is reached by a rather long drive on a single-track road. Although remote, the hotel rewards a stay with its peacefulness. It is located right on the sound. The ferry runs frequently to Mull and no reservation is needed. Our hosts were warmly welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and had a wonderful view of the sound. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order.

Lovely little hotel with special views and so peaceful. The hosts are so accommodating and do everything to make your stay comfortable. Would certainly visit again if I was in the area.

Shaley was a wonderful, flexible host, food was good and the views from the hotel were stunning.

Wunderschöne Lage, ruhig, direkt am Meer mit herrlicher Aussicht. Älteres Hotel, aber soweit gut unterhalten. Grosses Zimmer, topmodernes Badzimmer und Dusche. Dinner nur für Hotelgäste. Italienisch - köstlich.
