A Hidden Gem of Tranquility and Charm! Carpe Diem Villa and Resort is a true oasis in Puerto Princesa! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the peaceful, Balinese-inspired atmosphere, surrounded by lush greenery and elegant sculptures. The rooms are spotless, beautifully designed, and well-equipped — we especially loved the private pool access, which made the stay feel extra luxurious. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, even helping us plan local tours and arranging transport when needed. The main pool area is stunning and well-maintained — perfect for lounging with a drink from the poolside bar. Dining at their restaurant was a delightful surprise. The fusion of French and Filipino flavors made for a unique and satisfying experience, though we would have appreciated a bit more variety in the breakfast options. While the resort is tucked away from the main town, it’s a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Just be prepared to arrange transportation if you plan to explore more of the city. Overall, Carpe Diem is the perfect mix of comfort, relaxation, and attentive service. We’re already planning our next visit! Rating: 4.7/5

Room was clean and cool. Very nice bed. We could walk right out of the room and within a few steps be in the pool. The pool bar was excellent with a great bartender.

After a 4day balabac tour this property is exactly what we needed. Very clean and the staff were amazing!!! Rose, angel and chris were all amazing ! Bedroom was perfect, air conditioning was perfect and the shower was pure bliss!!!!

The villa was lovely and well kept. The staff were very accommodating, attentive and helpful; always helping us to book/ arrange transport, activities and places to eat out.

Personal pool, a large general pool, great cooking (rare) and the personnel was fantastic. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms huge. The only downside were the roaches (3/4) walking around on the buffet during breakfast. The breakfast is well protected, but it is still a little unsettling.

Water does not get that hot when showering. Everything else was great. Staff was awesome. Frances is the pool bartender as was really nice.

This is a fantastic little place for a couples retreat. It’s not lavish but it’s small and friendly. Great if you’re going out and about day tripping. Small but quiet. Stayed in a villa with private pool. They could do more to make it private as people walking past have full view so it’s not really private. Grounds are lush and green. There’s really no amenities like a big hotel but you don’t have the crowds either. Restaurant is very average and we generally went out to eat. Service was exceptional. We had a great time.

Lovely people and property. Smaller than some so more intimate. Beautifully landscaped and maintained. Limited breakfast menu and service. Dinner menu was great.

Amazing place, great value, opulence on a budget

とても親切なスタッフのおかげで安心して過ごすことができました。部屋もとても清潔でエアコンもよく効きました。強いて言うなら、少し市街地から離れていて周りに何もないですが、バイクで10分くらいでモールなどもあるので特に問題はありませんでした。

tres bel établissement , bonne reception, bon management

Excellent place to stay if you have plans for the Underground river. Make sure you have shuttle service and they will pick you up from this hotel. The staff is great and the rooms are very clean. They have a great breakfast and dining options. I was not disappointed. I highly recommend this place.

För oss var det ett toppendtälle att landa på efter en lång resa . Fantastiskt rum med pool access.

Nice, calm, clean hotel excellent staff, neighborhood is not convenient

I think that the highlight of this hotel is the staff everybody is so incredibly pleasant and attentive the facility is nice but it needs upgrading this is the kind of hotel that has a huge potential for becoming a high end boutique facility with a cocktail hour and more tour activities the rooms need upgrading badly but overall it was a very pleasant experience

Un joli ecrin de verdure dans Puerto Princesa. La villa avec piscine est agréable sauf dans la salle de bain (très jolie) où il y a une odeur de moisi malgré une aeration naturelle. Le petit déjeuner est très bien avec des plats locaux en buffet et des options à demander ( baguette,confiture,crepe,œufs). Le retaurant est bien mais plus cher qu'en ville. Attention, l'hôtel est loin du centre. Le transfert aéroport est rapide et pratique pour un prix raisonnable.

Very comfortable cozy place , quiet and relaxing time for sure! The French restaurant was superb !
