Very close to Malioboro and cheap food around the hotel

Very happy and satisfied with a week-long vacation staying at El Hotel, every time I visit Yogya I always stay here. Besides the hotel being clean and all the staff are friendly, it is also affordable with facilities like a 5-star hotel, from the arrival process straight to valet parking free, check-in is fast and get a room as requested. The room is spacious and clean fragrant, complete amenities and toiletries, get afternoon snacks delivered to the room. 20 steps to Malioboro mall and close to everywhere. The hotel also facilitates daily motorbike rental for only 100 thousand directly to the receptionist. Breakfast is abundant with a variety of food and fast in refilling food. Basically every time I visit Yogya I always stay here and it is highly recommended for those traveling to Yogya who are looking for a luxury 4-star hotel but feels like a 5-star in terms of facilities and service. Hopefully, El Hotel will be successful and continue to maintain what it is today. Thank you for all the extraordinary service during our Eid holiday in Yogya.

Great location, honestly one of the best places we’ve stayed in Yogya. Everything is within walking distance, super convenient. For breakfast, I kept going with Indomie instead of the other options since the taste wasn’t really up to my expectations.

The room cleanliness is poor and the properties in the room look worn out.

There's no other word but perfect. From the comfort of the rooms to the location, it's hard to put it into words. I just hope El Royal can survive and compete with other hotels in Yogyakarta. El Hotel Royale Jogja is the best.

The hotel staff were very friendly and smiling throughout, from the receptionist and security guards to the hotel employees we passed in the hallways and in the elevators. This made our stay comfortable. The pool area is indoor. Upon check-in, there was a welcome drink, but I noticed there were no clean glasses available. They were all used by guests and not immediately cleaned by the FNB. I think this is a small detail that needs to be addressed, as welcome drinks are important for guests. Please add more variety to the breakfast menu. When we had breakfast at 8 a.m., several food stalls were empty, so we had to wait for refills. The room area was quite clean, but I stayed in rooms 912 and 914. In room 912, the water from the shower wouldn't drain directly. For some reason, I don't think the bathroom dryer was working properly, so I had to wait a long time for the bathroom floor to dry, so I didn't worry about slippery water when using the sink. I also mentioned this to the receptionist upon check-out. The reason we chose this hotel was its proximity to Malioboro Plaza and other souvenir shops in Malioboro, saving us a lot of time on sightseeing trips with our family (with two small children).

Just steps from Malioboro Street. There's plenty of food in front of the hotel until late at night. It's not noisy because it's not on the main road. It's about 50-100 meters from Malioboro Street. I'll definitely be back.
