The "Digital Literacy" micro-credential provides an introductory level of knowledge about the digital skills that are required within hospitality.
This micro-credential aims to equip learners with a basic foundational understanding of how we use equipment to communicate with our customers, in an appropriate manner whether for bookings/reservations or payment transactions or the management of social media. The use of email, what is email etiquette and file setup and management. We also look at the security of personal information, recognising a potential security threat.
