The Hotels Galata

Séjour globalement très satisfaisant. Belle chambre confortable avec une vue imprenable sur Istanbul, et un bon accueil à l’arrivée. En revanche, nous avons eu une odeur persistante de canalisations dans la chambre tout au long du séjour (signalée à la réception) – on nous a gentiment proposé de changer de chambre le dernier jour, mais nous avons préféré garder la jolie vue. Petit bémol également : impossible de communiquer avec l’hôtel via la messagerie Hotels.com avant notre séjour, nos messages sont restés sans réponse. Sur place, en revanche, aucun souci. L’emplacement est central, parfait pour découvrir Istanbul à pied, mais le quartier de Galata est très touristique et actuellement en travaux, ce qui peut sembler un peu trop bondé.

Excellent séjour de 4 nuits à Istanbul. Lieu idéal pour visiter. Le quartier de Galata est parfait. L’hotel (neuf) est excellent en tous points… je recommande vivement

Very clean hotel , staff very friendly . We arrived @ the hotel around 6-7 in the morning . Eren the guy at the reception checked us early . Very friendly, helping and lovely guy . Overall our stay in Galata hotels was 10/10. Breakfast was on point . We will definetly come back again . Thank you

Nice venue. Well located for Galata without being in the madness of Taksim. Easy 10 min downhill walk to Karaköy station to get the tram to the Old City. Bathroom lovely. Breakfast nice, phenomenal view over the Bosphorus. Be aware however that heading to Galata is a bit of an uphill; there are different degrees of slope depending on how quickly you want to get there however so it’s not too bad.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Hotel Galata in Istanbul. From the moment I arrived, the staff impressed me with their professionalism and genuine helpfulness. Whether it was answering questions, giving local tips, or assisting with anything I needed, they consistently went above and beyond. The room was immaculate, spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, which made my stay all the more relaxing. I also really appreciated the hotel's great location. It was conveniently situated with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, shops, and major attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. If you're visiting Istanbul and want a place that combines comfort, service, and location, I highly recommend Hotel Galata. I'll definitely be returning!

Posizione ottima a 2 minuti a piedi dalla Torre di Galata. Quartiere molto comodo per raggiungere tutte le maggiori attrazioni di Istanbul. Personale gentile. Spa pulita e confortevole.

Accueil excellent , hotel tres confortable avec lacces piscine hamam sauna superbe , reception excellente , mais le restaurant malgré une vue remarquable est à fuire . En effet le serveur est incompetent et débordé avec seulement dix couverts . Verifier bien votre note .et plus de dessert a 21h45 car cuisine fermée alors que vous etes en train de manger . Et dit d'une manière......alors que nous attendions depuis 20 minutes

This is an extremely well-run property. The rooms are well appointed. Very clean and comfortable. Staff is very helpful. Don't miss the breakfast buffet the view and food are excellent. Great location.

Hier ist eine gekürzte und dennoch scharf formulierte Bewertung: Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen haben wir uns für dieses Hotel entschieden – leider ein großer Fehler. Die Umgebung ist heruntergekommen und verdreckt, unser gebuchter „Sehenswürdigkeiten-Blick“ bestand aus Baracken und Ruinen. Schlaf war hier unmöglich: Zwei Nächte in Folge wurden wir um 3 Uhr morgens von einem lauten Feueralarm geweckt – beide Male ein Fehlalarm. Nach einer schlaflosen ersten Nacht wechselten wir das Zimmer, doch in der zweiten Nacht wiederholte sich das Drama. Die „Entschädigung“? Ein schlechtes Frühstück oder ein „kostenloser“ Flughafentransfer, der uns laut WhatsApp-Nachricht letztlich doch 60 € kosten sollte – obwohl ein normales Taxi nur 30 € kostete. Fazit: Kein Schlaf, keine Entspannung und der Versuch, Gäste abzuzocken. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert!
