Convenient to the Coliseum Bathroom tub/shower could have been cleaner. But overall it was a good experience and would stay here again.

It did its job

When we arrived at the hotel around 330 pm there was a large number of people waiting in the lobby. Come to find out it was because they had no rooms ready to check all these people in to. We ended up having to wait about 30 minutes to get checked in. The worst part of the stay though was 315 am some kind of alarm woke us up. It was a continuous sound kind of like an alarm. We had to hunt around in the room to find the source and it was coming from the air filter area of the air conditioner. We called the desk. The girl was short with us, like we were bothering her. Whatever the alarm was finally stopped with no further issues. By this point we had been up for about a hour. Thankfully we were finally able to go back to sleep. The air filter in there was disgustingly dirty. Caked with dust. It hadn’t been changed for a very long time.

The bed literally had two craters in it where people sleep. It was the worst bed I’ve ever slept on in 60 years. The shower had no hot water at 8 AM or 11 AM. There was no soap in the dispenser in the shower. The ice container would only hold 2 cups of ice. It was so small. Check out time we were trying to get finished cause we waited until 11 o’clock to try and take a shower and we told the lady that knocked on the door that wanted to know why we were still in the room that we had no hot water and we waited to try and get hot water to take a shower. Needless to say we weren’t able to take a shower so we had to drive several hours without a shower.

At the restaurant, there wasn’t any food when we decided to eat dinner. For the first two days, we didn’t have any hot water in our room.

Friendly staff and need arens

The room was very spacious and clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Shower was nice and refreshing. Only thing my room didn’t have is a refrigerator. I was disappointed in that. I had a connecting room with friends. Their room had a refrigerator so I was able to use theirs so not a major problem

No issues. Nice room and polite staff

It was appropriate for a 3-star hotel. The shower was clogging at first but the maintenance gentleman was very kind and took care of it right away. Nothing special else wise just needed one night of rest for our road trip.

We were excited to book this property because it has an indoor pool. When checking in we were told they were undergoing renovations but the pool was open. What they failed to tell us was the sign on the pool door that says “pool temp low, swim at your own risk”. The pool temp wasn’t low, it was frigid! The room wasn’t even warm, and I’d guess the water was 50-60. The room itself was nice and the bed comfortable. We liked that the pull out sofa had everything we needed in the closet so my daughter could use it. However, at 5:30 in the morning the hvac unit (behind the grate in the wall) started beeping and woke us all up. We decided to just check out early and head on home. We usually like doubletree, but I would rather the hotel be upfront about the amenities rather than wait until we check in.

It was not up to a Double Tree standard. I did see a sign that they were renovating. My bathroom was full of mold in the tub area and around soap dish The employee were all nice and polite.

This was a booking for a couple family members for the NASCAR weekend and by all accounts it was a very good hotel. They reported that the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the restaurant was very good.

Everything was good

Property was very clean and staff was ok. The keys was not working properly but I went to the office to get them fixed. We were having my niece a birthday sleepover and she enjoyed it her and her friends were a lil noisy but they did just fine. We are thankful that it’s over with 😅

I’ll highly recommend the Double Tree to anyone that comes to gboro visiting! Check in was smooth, I definitely loved and appreciated the cookie and water & the room was great!!!

Jamall did a great job with getting me checked in. Very professional young man.

The property was in a good location it had different variety of dinning options around the area.

Staff very friendly and helpful

Property was nice and staff was amazing. Clean rooms and very quiet hotel. Restaurant attached. Lots of Parking. Had an issue with the sink, staff came immediately to fix the sink. However sink never worked correctly so in the morning it was not draining so it was just a nasty sight for the next person in the bathroom. The stay was great overall.
