Ocean's Sound Hotel

The property itself is not bad. Expect a $35.00 service charge and $20.00 charge that are due at the time of checkin. They will hold $100 deposit, also due at the check in time. Rooms are ok. Expect some quick fixes and some cheap repairs to the rooms. At the reception desk expect a rude treat and un empathetic service. But is is located in a great place.

As soon as we checked in to room smell of mold Not safe , room door really bad. So loud so much drinking and smoking weed in front of the door (public area) We travel with our kids. We went to reception right away about everything I explain we are planning to stay 3nights but we can’t in this room because of all above. Receptionist was so rude. We want to check out. They don’t give our money back charge 3days plus parking plus fee . We were so disappointed. But we can’t stay there at all . If you are family please be aware

We always stay around that area and this was the first time stying at this particular hotel. Quick note: the shower had a lot of sand when we first arrived into the apartment as well the sink. It was fairly clean. I lost something around the bed and when I went to search for it beside the bed, it was a little dirty. This hotel has a lot of potential it just needs care. It was hard to find the check in spot since it was at another location. And the receptionist didn’t help much either. Overall we love our stay there.

First of all. This place looks very deceiving in the pictures. First red flag, we arrived in Miami around 9am. We called to let them know we were here and was wondering how early we could check in, they said 1pm with a nominal fee would be earliest check in; I called at 1pm and they said the room wasn’t ready and that it would be done by 3:30, called again at 3:30 they stated we needed to stop asking and to give their housekeepers time to clean the room. Check in time for everyone was at 4pm. We went to check in to our hotel and there was easily 12 people in the little lobby all checking into other properties! They had two people at the front desk we didn’t even check in until 5pm! Second red flag, the pools were DISGUSTING. Sooo murky and smelled like bleach and made us itch when we got out of the pool. 3rd red flag, we paid for late check out because our flight leaves late. Check out is at 11am but we paid for 2pm, when we arrived back from the beach our key card was deactivated and it looked like someone had been in our room! 4th red flag, there are no kitchen utensils, shower and bathroom are a total mess cosmetically. The continental breakfast only contained cereal and burnt toast. They have been charging extra fees for everything. To everyone looking at this place to stay please save your money and do it else where! This place is GOD awful!!! Never again. HBH is an awful company

The best part it’s so close to the beach

No pool had to walk 3 blocks for a pool full of people partying loud music couldn’t even enjoy it left early

We got the apt which did not show pictures. When we arrived one fo the bed was in living room and the other had it own privacy. It had 2 bathrooms and a nice size kitchen. It is 3 min walking distance to boardwalk. I have been to several places in Hollywood and this one is my fav because of the location.

La probiedad esta buena pero yo rente una habitacion para 5 personas y que supuesta mente tenia pisina y cuando llegamos no era lo que se habia rentado ya que en la pagina no explica que tienen 5 instalaciones con el mismo nombre y halgunas no tienen pisina por lo demas todo bien

First off let’s start by saying I was not provided the room I originally booked was across from the beach(they have numerous properties). I was put on the main road and I feel as if it was due to check in being judgmental. The noise from the traffic was ridiculous, and we were put directly in front of the manager office(no one else was put in that property.) The room was fairly small. The hot water took almost 10 minutes to get hot. The water pressure was low. Fees are charged for everything. Towels need to be given a deposit. Parking is $18 a day when they have side parking available. Morning staff was not friendly and very direct with the way she spoke.

Great location

Old building, so the smell inside the rooms and specially inside the bathroom is not pleasant. The room was clean, but the smell is strong. Also the AC Unit is not enough for the entire room. The front desk staff RUDE. The price you pay DOES NOT include parking and resorts fees. Other than that, EXCELLENT LOCATION.

The room was on top of the laundry room it was in the cut all you can see was a wall to the window and full of black mold and termites everywhere.

we wake up at 2am to the bed full of bedbugs my sister had bits all over her back and me o the side of my ear.. i was so upset but we where so tired at this point we just needed somewhere to sleep (wasnt cheap to stay all there additional fees it was double) we are then given a smaller room bathroom had no curtain or rug to prevent the massive puddles of water. the smell of humidity in the place it overpowering so you can turn the air off. second night in the now downgraded room to no power in the place. lot of livin in tenants so does get weird when they come back at night. Disputing the charges for the stay.

My whole reservation from The Neptune to Ocean Sounds was a horrible dreadful experience.
