-Pengalaman menginap di Hotel Damar Toba di Balige menyenangkan & berkesan.
-Setiba di hotel, kami disuguhi welcome drink yang menyegarkan setelah berkendara cukup jauh.
-Resepsionis yang sepertinya juga merangkap Guest Relation sangat ramah menjelaskan daerah sekitar hotel yang bisa dikunjungi. Salah satunya Bukit Tara Bunga / Tara Bunga Hill di mana kita bisa melihat view yang menakjubkan dari atas bukit tsb.
-Tidak hanya resepsionis, staff lainnya juga proaktif memastikan tamu sudah dilayani dengan baik.
-Sebenarnya Damar Toba lebih kepada restoran di tepi Danau Toba yang berdesain modern dengan sentuhan etnik, dan hanya memiliki 6 kamar tidur dengan desain modern
- Kamarnya tidak terlalu luas namun menyediakan fasilitas yang lengkap untuk bekerja sembari healing tipis, seperti kabel LAN, USB charger, safety box, air panas dan amenities kamar mandi yang lengkap.
-Pihak Damar Toba bahkan menyediakan servis membersihkan body mobil bagi tamu yang berkendara pribadi. Ini servis yang jarang ditemui yang menambah nilai plus bagi Damar Toba.
- Restoran Damar Toba terdiri dari indoor dan outdoor di tepi danau. Semilir angin dan penerangan cahaya bohlam menawarkan suasana tenang nan romantis di sore malam hari. Cocok untuk event2 maupun banquet.
- Masakan yang disajikan juga enak.
- Mudah-mudahan Damar Toba tetap konsisten mempertahankan kualitas makanan, servis serta kebersihan kamar dan lingkungan sekitar.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The flaw in the room was just that the faucet in the bathroom was a bit broken. After all, the best thing about this hotel was first, the swimming pool was precisely near the lake. I could just sit near the swimming pool and enjoy the view of Lake Toba. It was wonderful. Second, if you want to go to Parapat, you can book a ticket for a boat that is scheduled to go there. The boat parked in front of the hotel's swimming pool. The staff at the receptionist was so informative about this, it was extremely helpful for me. (I would've gone to a farther port if he didn't talk about this). Thanks to him! However, the hotel was quite barren. The hotel was huge, but I could hardly see plants or trees anywhere, so it was pretty uncomfortable to walk or sit around the hotel at midday. Another thing that I disliked about this hotel was that they had a music group that sang songs extremely loudly at the restaurant from around 8 pm-11 pm. My room was near the restaurant, it was quite disturbing for people who wanted to rest after a tiring day, enjoy their dinner at the restaurant, or do online work.

这家酒店住起来很不舒服。很抱歉。凌晨两点就停水了，所以如果你需要上厕所，一定要做好准备。我们要求的是无烟房，但房间里却弥漫着烟味。房间很吵，而且靠近过往车辆，很多客人聊天到深夜，影响睡眠。毛巾、牙刷、洗发水、香皂等设施都没有。别指望有这些。这是一篇诚实的点评，也是为了这家酒店好。在我看来，这家酒店不配被称为酒店。
