The Barclay surprised us. An older style Motor Inn with lots of room, very comfortable bed, little kitchenette and great shower. We liked the position to the waterfront and the lovely helpful staff. Indoor pool is great. Would stay here again.

The location of hotel is very good. Easy to find and close to town centre. The hotel host was very friendly. I left my camera bag on a chair at the reception area during check in. My wallet and passport were also in the bag. When I came back to the reception 2 hours later, thanks god that the hotel host help me to keep it and gave it back to me. I really appreciate very much.

The location of hotel is very good. Easy to find and close to town centre. The hotel host was very friendly. I left my camera bag on a chair at the reception area during check in. Clean, well-equipped and comfortable accommodation in Devonport. Friendly and helpful staff booked us in on arrival. The motel is well located and is a short drive from supermarkets and the CBD and proved to be convenient for access to the Spirit of Tasmania port.

Lovely clean room, a peaceful location, and an easy walk to city centre. The hosts were excellent, going above and beyond - i needed to check-in early as well as a late check-out and when it looked like my taxi wasn’t going to show up they even got me over to the Spirit of Tasmania.
I’m not fond of travelling solo, so being looked after by such kind, caring people is a real pleasure.

This place was amazing! As soon as we walked in we were like wow! And actually went to ask if we had the correct room! Staff were lovely and helpful and even turned on the lights and heater in our room for us before we arrived. The unit had everything we needed and more! We will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Devonport. Thank you!
