The staff is quite nice and polite. Other than that, this motel is actually not a good one. Though I know it is outdated, however there are things they can improve, for example the cleanliness , and comfortability. Can’t understand why there are ants in the room. The room is quite spacious, but only one chair beside the table. I sincerely advise the owner to spend some time on how to improve the room.

This hotel is around 30 years old, but the price is good for me and free packing, and just 10 mins walk to downtown.

Clean, good location for driving with sufficient parking space. Warm and kind hospitality.

This was my first time stay in Motel. It is located in west Hobart. It needs about 20minutes walk down to the city. Beautiful views looked from the motel and surrounding. The staffs include the cleaning ladies are nice and helpful, and gave us many useful information and suggestion. Noise barrier was not very good, we lived in the room near the Cafe, when people upstairs close their room or walk around, we can hear the noise especially at night and early morning. I think because that is a wood building. The only one thing I hope the motel can consider about the cleaning of cutlery/cups/dishes inside the room. They looks clean but a bit oily. We think they're not cleaned properly by previous guests. Motel price but hotel experience. I am happy to recommend this motel to u.

I stayed for one night with two friends. Location is good, convenient and quiet. Room is spacious and amenities are good. Bathroom is nice and clean. However, the mattresses and single sofa are too soft.

It is quit clear but a bit old. Quiet with very good view outside.

I paid $160 for a spa room on a Thursday night in winter. It was a very small, old style jacuzzi brand spa that barely worked. I could not stretch out or sit comfortably on my own and there was hardly any pressure coming from the jets. All knobs/dials just went around endlessly in both directions and did nothing else whatsoever. The intake plug was the old style silver grate that suctioned hard enough that it hurt me when I bumped up against it while I was trying to get comfortable. Very disappointed in the spa, it clearly needs upgrading/serious maintenance. Bed and pillows very comfy.

Top marks for a spacious & absolutely clean room furnished with 1950s charm, down to the smallest detail. It's value for money, no question. There's piping hot water and good shower pressure. The shower is over the bath but there's a handrail & anti slip mat. Parking is good. My 2 issues were a bed with a mattress that was way too soft a microwave that had such a death rattle I didn't use it for fear of waking my neighbours. Overall, I'm pleased I chose Mayfair. Staff couldn't have been better.

Charming old school motel rooms with a chandelier and a bed frame with attached side tables lol. Handy that it was near a bus stop. Only thing about the rooms is that they have very old heaters that take a few hours to heat the room. Friendly staff

The property has been beautifully maintained and the bed was so comfy, had an amazing sleep. I definitely recommend 💯
