Staff and location on Tumut River, both wonderful. Our room (10) was above kitchen, very noisy with louds slams and bumps most of the night.
Expected more from Restaurant, food very average for the price.

The drive to here was delightful (from Merimbula) and the hotel setting on a fresh running river was GORGEOUS.
All Stunning. Food. Wine. Staff. We stayed in the main building (as only there for one night) in the Gundagai King Suite
Not a 'cheap ' place - but they're not trying to be! And worth every penny and not stupidly expensive either. Just fair for the quality and quantity and space and views... Natalie at the reception desk was just delightful.

We were return guests . Our first stay about twelve months ago was a highlight of a road trip .
And then there was the Pork Chop at The Three Ducks .
That was the man reason we drove along Brungle Road once more.

We went to Nimbo Fork lodge for a special birthday celebration and had the best time.
It was super relaxing and quiet and we really enjoyed the stunning views over the valley and Tumut River from the verandah of our cabin.
The staff were all absolutely wonderful and constantly went above and beyond to be helpful and welcoming.
We had dinner at the 3 blue ducks restaurant on site and it was just a wonderful experience. I have food allergies and the staff were incredibly helpful, providing great advice and made sure that we had a beautiful meal.
I really recommend this lodge as an excellent venue for a special getaway.
