They don’t answer their phones, messages or emails. Apparently no one was in attendance for 3 days. More than half of the wine list was not available, staff did not know the difference between a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Burgundy. The staff did try their best at times. The menu was very limited, the bar did not open until 5pm. The rooms smelled of smoke. It is a beautiful old building, we really tried to enjoy our stay, however we will not return.

Accomodation was not clean. Bathrooms were very dirty. Very overpriced. Would not recommend or stay again

Very cool old place with some beautiful rooms

Lovely old style building. Room comfortable and quiet but the only option available at time of booking were rooms with a shared bathroom. Which was the main problem with the stay. Initially we had access to a shared bathroom next to our room. But the bathroom doors didn't lock (or even close properly) and the toilet cistern leaked continually. When we reported this to the front desk, instead of fixing the door and cistern they simply closed off the bathroom and re-directed us to other shared bathrooms further away. The hotel was full and these older (under)renovated bathrooms were simply not up to the task. Hair in all the drains, and generally messy. Limited shower cubicles etc. If the hotel persists with shared facilities they really need modern bathrooms...

Very pleasant staff, clean room and spotless fresh bedlinen

Staff were incredibly welcoming and made sure we were looked after.

The Robertson Hotel is a sanctuary where the raveled sleeve can be knitted up again :) Beautiful surrounds, friendly, attentive staff, lovely breakfast. My only worry is that its gentle, historical charm will be lost in future development. Sydney needs this kind of retreat from its mass tourism culture.

The room was spotless. However, we were there for three nights and the room was not serviced during our stay.

It was a very nice stay checkin staff on arrival were amazing.However check out very poor the young man was rude and didnt seem to know what he was doing.Made the trip for our friends and us a bit sour spoiled the whole experience..Shame

The room was amazing. The checkin process was efficient. The gardens were amazing and peaceful. Also, Jason and Annela were friendly, professional and helped make my stay a fantastic one. Thank you.

Somewhat dated bedrooms, no facilities to make a hot drink. Location excellent

The hotel rooms are tired and in need of some TLC. The food was ordinary and very overpriced.

Nice location for a special event, but would not stay again overnight, better value for money elsewhere. Poor amenities, broken furniture in the room and overpriced on weekends, food is only average.
