Topiary Haven is lovely detached cottage in a topiary garden about 20 meters from the main house. Very private and quiet. Beautifully equipped with everything you need including fruit, milk, yogurt, cereal, bread, eggs, bacon and lots of items in the cupboards. Diana and Barry have thought of everything for a very comfortable stay. Walking distance into the city and close to the Cataract Gorge.

The owners were very friendly , thoughtful and generous. The implements within the property were carefully and thoughtfully curated . The garden was outstanding.

Great clean, beautiful apartment with full breakfast provisions. We were provided a cheese platter because we booked 3 nights. Diana and Barry are wonderful hosts with the place set in an enchanting garden. It was a 2 minute drive to Cataract Gorge which is a must do while here. Also nice access to driving the Tamar Valley for for touring. Highly recommend.

Warm Wecoming hosts who added to the beautiful surroundings.

Stayed at Topiary April 2017 and had a thoroughly lovely stay. Diana is a very thoughtful and warm host and has also put a lot of thought and empathy into putting together the accommodation. It is a self contained cottage in the back of a yard in a quiet street - so extremely peaceful and nice views out each window. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and spacious but Diana also offers a good list of local restaurants. Honestly the provisions that were supplied could have kept us fed for a couple of days and all of very high quality. The bedroom is spacious, airy and the bed very comfortable with a small but well laid out bathroom. Lots of great touches to make your stay comfortable. We didn't want to leave. Everything was immaculately spotless. Highly recommended.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. Accommodation was spotless, comfortable and had all the things we need. Good location. And the garden was spectacular. We would come back again.

I don't like hotels, not even the luxurious ones - they just have that 'hotelly' feeling about them. Topiary Haven is truly a haven - a modern, spacious, beautifully equipped little 'home' away from home. It's quiet, clean & super comfortable & you really do have to see it to believe it. The hosts are delightful (Di is also a dab hand when your car doesn't start!) and I just didn't want to leave.

A true five star accommodation very close to Cataract Gorge complete with beautiful views across Launceston. Wonderful hosts who provided a welcoming cheese platter and an excellent choice of local wines to purchase at sale prices. It was the home (I would like to have) away from home. It was the high point of our Tasmanian holiday.

Met on arrival Diana + Barry the perfect hosts. House with everything you could possibly need, including food for the biggest breakfast. Tranquil surroundings. Private. Close to everything in Launceston, incl. Tamar Arts and Wine Trail.

We loved our stay over winter. The electric blanket was so appreciated, and it made for a great nights sleep. Everything you could want was there for breakfast, and the hosts were sweet and helpful. Free wifi was also a welcome addition to our stay, being able to update friends and family easily made our stay far more enjoyable. We can't wait to visit again!

Excellent place to stay and great facilities in the rooms.

I love this place! The owners had thought of everything and we really didn't need to take much in with us. The accommodation is lovely and very comfortable. I didn't want to leave and would definitely stay again.

The environment was very peacefull & relaxing with our hosts very thoughtfull & accomodating. We loved the cheese platter & wine provided on arrival & the hot & cold breakfast foods , various types of tea & coffee & fruit provided for our enjoyment.
