I can't speak highly enough of this hotel. Location: Excellent. There is a tram stop out the back door on Collins Street. There are great bars and restaurants in the area. Staff: We were greeted warmly on check-in and offered a room upgrade which was greatly appreciated. Our bags were transported to our room for us. Check in and check out were both efficient and the staff were extremely professional and friendly. Room: The room was spacious and spotless, with a comfy bed and huge bathroom. We had one minor issue which was resolved immediately and we were given a bottle of wine for the inconvenience, which was completely unexpected. Bar: We received fantastic service in the Curious bar - one bar attendant in particular was outstanding (unfortunately I did not get her name) - and the cocktails were excellent.

Bathroom has no door. Sliding door is too far. Shower doesn’t work properly. Room layout is wierd and inconvenient. No desk. Amazing pool. Tiny gym. Never stay again.

Newish hotel, great decor with on site restaurants and bar. It’s close enough to the shopping district but far enough away to miss out on the noise and hustle. Decent gym and indoor swimming pool on the top floor. Cleanliness was hit and miss, with hair on the bathroom bench when we arrived and our room service tray left outside our door, uncollected for over 24 hrs. Staff were friendly and accomodating.

Our room smelled like cigarette smoke...very disappointing. They offered to move us, but we were unpacked. Housekeeping was not in out room until close to 4 pm the next day. Overall, we expected a bit more.

The hotel was a great central location to the restaurants, trains, and shopping centers. The room was clean with good amenities and all the staff were friendly and very accommodating. Only downside was noise from the outside trains traffic.

We had an early flight so we arrived at the hotel at 8am and check in is usually at 3pm but they allowed us to check in early (straight away) and on top of that we got an upgrade to one of the few rooms with a balcony! One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. The interior, the bathroom, everything was perfect.
