Les taxes de séjour de 6.10€ sont devenus 10€ à l'arrivée. Si je n'avais pas ces 6.500fr cfa??? C'est une première sur hôtel.com. Je ne commente pas souvent, mais changer de montant, c'est très dangereux. J'ai dit à la personne que j'ai trouvée que je paye, mais je le notifierai en commentaire. Le premier studio avait des soucis, on m'a donné un autre, plus grand, même si la grandeur n'était pas necessaire. Pour le reste je leur dirai en privée, car ce n'est pas intentionnel de leur part.

The apartment is spacious and clean. The pool is beautiful and kept tidy. The area is in Bastos which is very nice and very safe. 10/10 would recommend.

I returned home to Cameroon after a long time and decided to choose Residence Massou for my stay. Overall experience was 10/10. The staff, location, view, and suite were everything I expected and more. They cleaned the room daily which I appreciated. Next year I will return and book the exact same suite. Thank you to staff and everyone for making me feel welcomed

Anlage, Zimmer, Service und WIFI waren top! Tolle Lage am Mount Febe mit Sportmöglichkeiten. Management und Mitarbeiter haben bei Fragen immer gerne geholfen. Ich hatte viel Spass, mich sehr wohl gefühlt und komme gerne wieder!

Overall, the property is very good and could have deserved a 5-star rating. The apartment itself and the staff on site were great, aside from a few minor issues. Unfortunately, my overall experience was negatively affected by poor communication from management. The booking was made and confirmed through Expedia, yet I never received any follow-up message. When I arrived for check-in, the property was fully booked and the room I had reserved had already been assigned to another guest. To accommodate me, I was charged an additional €80 and placed in a three-bedroom unit. However, only one bedroom was accessible, as the other two were locked. In effect, I paid an extra fee but received essentially the same experience as the room I had originally booked, due to an internal booking issue. This situation felt unfair and significantly impacted my stay, despite the quality of the property itself.

Its a jewel away from home .The view from the window overlooking the natural quiet green forest is breathtaking.Its surreal .Its Yauonde 's gem hidden below the hills surrounded by grenery.I would do it again and again.It remains deeply imprinted and engrained in my heart.I highly recommend it for someone seeking quiet moments away from it all,the hustle and bustle of everyday stresses.Its the calm to the storm.Its pure peace ,its pure joy.

Professional staff

The room was spacious but seemed not completed as some sockets were not installed and wires were visible. The shower room is small. It had an amazing nature view to the forest and the chipping of the birds was a great experience. The neighborhood was safe But the property has no restaurant. The internet in my room was only available at the window side and it was very unstable. The swimming pool was dirty. The hotel doesn’t have any English speaking attendants. Quite difficult communicating with the staff if you don’t know English The room didn’t have some basic things like shower slippers, shampoo, soap and lotion. The serviettes at the kitchen end, the coffee marker or boiler. When I arrived it lacked cutlery and dustbin until I asked for them

The pool would have been nice, except that it's still being built. The spa would have been nice, except that it was broken. The wifi would have been nice. But it took them 3 days to finally get us a wifi code, after us asking repeatedly. When we got it, the connection was slower than dial-up in the 90's. The air conditioning was nice, but we were asked to turn it off every time we left the property to save on electricity which meant coming back to a hot apartment, and when the city power went out their back-up generator couldn't run the AC as well. There's no restaurant anywhere within walking distance. If you have your own car, you will be fine for food. The apartment was clean, spacious, and in a safe location. The cleaning staff may come in and rearrange your stuff while you're out looking for food, though. It took us hours to find all our stuff again. But we're a family of 6, so others might have a different experience.

This is our 4th stay in the last year at this luxurious apartment. One word that best describes our experiences at this incredible gated facility is “EXCEPTIONAL.” The rooms at Massou were modern and very spacious. The hotel overlooks a nature forest with green trees and a beautiful park. From the rooftop, you can enjoy sounds of nature while enjoying morning breakfast. It also has onsite 24/7 security. On arrival, we were received by the amazing help staff who served us fresh natural juices and assisted with our luggage. A highlight of our last trip this November, 2023 was to see many professional international soccer players at the facility. Customer service was great and to have laundry machines, in-room Air conditioners, free Wifi, steady electricity and water flow, a fully stocked kitchen with a gas cooker, fridge and microwave in a spacious 3 bedroom unit made our visit wonderful. I’ve stayed at many top hotels in Cameroon. Maison Massou in Bastos, Yaounde, is the only one I've experienced that provides the best luxury value for money without compromising quality and security. A total surprise and delight! This experience also explains why we are repeat customers.

Very clean and well-equipped apartment in Bastos area of Yaoundé. We used if for a very short family get-away and were very pleased. Very nice view from the patio of the forest. Our kids loved the apartment and there were some nice family activities in the area (swimming pool at another hotel, walking trail and sports area with a playground, good restaurants). We would stay there again!
