The deluxe cabin has everything you need. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cabin was clean. Great location in the mountains.

It's a lovely cabin in the woods. Host are kind and friendly, and good facilities. Just, we didn't sleep well since there are train rail right next to our cabin and the first train pass around 4:00 am, 5:00 am, and so on, with a loud steam whistle or something very noisy, which actually shocked my whole family up and hard to get back to sleep again. If you are staying here, suggest to ask for cabin far from the rail.

Let me start off by thanking the staff at Castle Mountain Chalet. I made a mistake on my booking. I thought I booked 4 nights but I only booked 3, as a result I didn't check out on the last day I actually booked. We took off early in the morning and left some our stuff in the chalet. We returned late at night and found our cabin already occupied. Only then I found out I made a mistake and should have checked out that day. It was a worrying situation, the office hr is already passed. As we sat in the vehicle thinking what to do, the staff approached us. Turns out they have tried to contact me during the day but my phone number didn't work, and they carefully moved our stuff （every little bit of stuff) to another available suite (the cabin we stayed was already booked by other party) . They were really concerned about our safety and even apologized for not being able to keep the same cabin for us. Very professional and caring service by the team. About the cabin, overall, it was well appointed. However, the heater was really loud when it kick into action. I was waken by it a few times during the night. The bed was a bit too soft for me. The suite we stayed in for the extra night was very well equipped with jacuzzi. The bed was firmer and there was no machine sound. The suite is obviously newer and more comfortable than the cabin we stayed in. The location is close to the railroad, and freight trains pass by a road nearby overnight. Which was pretty noisy.
