Beautiful experience

Very clean room, staff was exceptionally friendly and patient. Service was outstanding as was the breakfast.

Everything was great, no complaints!

The staff and Saint Sulpice was wonderful! I received help from Sarah, the concierge, to arrange a birthday cake for my partner. She worked very hard to make this happen and have everything paid for before I arrived in Montreal. Our room was extremely nice. It was quite large and even had a kitchenette, microwave and fridge. The bedding and bed comfort were excellent. The front desk staff always greeted us and helped us with any of our questions and always with a smile. Overall it was a great experience. I travel very often and seldom have such a good experience. It truly was a 5 Star stay. I highly recommend this hotel. Also, great location in the Old Montreal which is one of the nicest places to stay in the city.

Tivemos problemas com uma luminária que fica do lado da cama. Ela ficou piscando a noite inteira e não conseguimos desligar nem tapar a luz. O hotel resolveu o problema no dia seguinte mas poderiam ter oferecido algum “mimo” como pedido de desculpas. Tivemos problemas ao estacionar o nosso carro que era grande e o valet do hotel não aceitou. Só ficamos sabendo disso ao solicitar para estacionar no momento do check in. Poderiam ter avisado isso nas observações da reserva ou antes de chegada. Outro ponto é que ao chegar no quarto havia uma mensagem com uma garrafa de vinho cortesia em função do meu status silver no hoteis.com, mas após o check out tentaram fazer a cobrança.

The hotel is understaffed and I cannot recommend staying here given the price. Wait times at reception and valet are very long. There was no chef at breakfast and we were asked to come back later despite our reservation. They didn’t offer to let us sit down and order coffee. When we went back to our room to make coffee we discovered the creamer in the fridge was rotten. When we finally did eat at the restaurant, they forgot parts of our order and no one checked on us until it was time for us to leave so we couldn’t ask for the missing parts. Also the room setup was strange. Despite only having two people on our reservation, the housekeeping staff put down a Murphy bed and set up a pull out couch even though there was a bedroom with a bed in addition. This made the room with the pull out couch unusable because it was full of beds we had to navigate around. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. It doesn’t feel like it.

Good Condition, Sofa not confortable, Some bulbs did not work and Lighting overall very poor design. Great space, great terrace. Bed and sheets medium average. Staff friendly!!

What an amazing stay. Clean, comfortable, close to everything you need. Paolo helped us get settled and was so hospitable. The front desk team was also very good at making us feel at home especially with our limited French. We will be back.
