The room was alright, I wouldn’t say it was really cleaned but it was probably wiped down. The beds were comfortable enough, and the room large enough for our two toddlers to run around! However the bathroom was tiny, and only one person fits in there at a time! The tubs are very very slippery and shallow. Hot tub is warm not hot, and the pool is FROZEN. The staff we had the pleasure of meeting were nice and fairly nonchalant, helped if you asked question but there’s an older white man who was quite rude and almost made up rules after we’d been there 3 nights already. The building is not very safe or disabled accessible.. we literally watched a woman crack her skull open on the step out of the front door. The hotel is very very old, we had a fantastic weekend. But spend that extra $20-$30 if you want that little bit of a nicer stay for sure!

Ok hotel, staff friendly convenient location

Old building but close to restaurants and hi-way. The lady at the front desk was super nice and very helpful. If you are in a budget and quick swim in the pool and hot tub this is the place.

Clean room. Barely any staff. Amenities like the pool are well maintained but seem run down.

Very pleasant stay above expectations. The pool and sauna are both great and are open 24h . Free coffee and tea 24h also. Very cool staff. Decorations and furniture are outdated but we loved the vibe.

Location is nice, able to quickly walk to nearby restaurants, or quick drive to places like the silver chalice. The rooms were clean, some furniture damage but only little things on wood. The tv was amazing, it was fairly large and had a roku. Wifi was reliable, no more breakfast, even when we had booked it still said it was included, unfortunate timing. The pool was nice, looks same as the photo, hot tub was a little bit on the scorching side, but may just be a preference. AC and heat was wonderful, worked well and could be easily accessed. No bed bugs after a thorough check, and all furniture seemed clean, however, the floor seemed like it could use a revamp, but is expected for it. Bathroom was nice, little cramped with legs touching the door when you close it. Overall, I think that it was a 7/10.

Totally acceptable inexpensive hotel HOWEVER, the listing name appears to be incorrect as this is Travelodge

First and foremost, we were late checking in after 9:30 PM and therefore we were told we could not check in. We were late checking in because we were looking for the Richter hotel and unfortunately, that is not actually the name of this hotel the name of this hotel is actually the Travelodge I’ve stayed in many hotels and this hotel I would consider a no tell motel the beds were sagging and must be from circa 1990. There was actual plants growing out of the windowsill on the inside of the room. The bathtub surround had a huge crack in it. The bathtub was filled with caulking all over approximately an inch thick the bathtub faucets were working however there was holes underneath them that was filled with yet more caulking. The hot tub was nice and warm and so was the pool. I have trusted Hotels.com when looking for accommodations unfortunately I will not be so trusting in the future.

You will be surprised when you pull up looking for the Rychter and instead find a worn out Travel lodge. The name change must be an attempt to escape the many horrible reviews of the old name. The photos online have clearly been touched up to hide the worn out appearance. Once inside the room was clean, and the beds ok. There were tiny ants crawling around in the bathroom. The building had a stale smoky murk lingering in all common areas. We will certainly never visit again

stayed here the same day as the person who left a 2/10 review. not sure what they were talking about. the value for the price was great. my room and the rest of the hotel was very clean (and smelled normal!). the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. it's also very clear when you book that it's an independent hotel, the travel lodge sign is really irrelevant if you can follow simple directions! all in all it was a really lovely stay and i would return. the bed was super comfy too! and great location.

The hotel was not as advertised. The name on the hotel was travelodge not rychter hotel. It was a vey tired hotel with smell of mould and dirty carpets. People were smoking in the hall. We did not stay and of course did not get a refund. It was worth the cost to just walk away. Very dissapointed that this hotel was on expedia. Some compensation from expedia would be appreciated.
